You were awoken by a swaying movement that scared you "it's okay. You fell asleep." Said Matthew. He was carrying you. You noticed you were in the elevator already, almost there. Finally it seemed forever Jackie opened the door and Matthew made his way to the bedroom He plopped you onto the bed. Quickly you got under the covers. Matthew sat at the edge. guessing he was tired or something. You peeled off your shirt and pants leaving you in a sports bra and spandex. Shirt and pants in hand you threw them over the covers.

You uncovered yourself getting fresh air from above the covers. Matthew thinking you were already passed out stood up and peeled off his shirt exposing his ripped stomach. You covered your face letting him know that you were watching. He just laughed and got under the covers. Everything seemed quite and calm throughout the night.

Mumbling and whispers woke you up as they got louder and louder you sprang up from bed and noticed Matthew on the edge off the bed listening as well. "Is that Jackie and-"
"Manny yeah. They've been arguing for a good 10 min." He mentioned "Are you serious?" You got up with the idea of going and checking no one has gotten hurt or anything, but you sprang back because of Matthew "I wouldn't" he said "I know you wouldn't that's why I am." You said making a point "Look your doing fine you don't need anymore stress on yourself." He said getting up still having ahold of your wrist. You scoffed and got out of his grip. You went into the kitchen where Manny and Jackie were arguing "what's going on?!" You asked Matthew coming up behind you all the loud talking came to a silent sound wave rushing through the loft. "Tell her why won't you Manny ?! Tell her what you did." Now you were just plain confused Manny opened his mouth but nothing came out " I- I told Steven he could come talk to you in the morning." He said letting out a sigh. "ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID?!" Came from Matthew.

The fact that you had no say in it is what made you mad. You didn't know what was bound to happen when he came. "Y/N he says he JUST wants to talk." Said Manny " YEAH WELL HOW DO YOU KNOW HE IS NOT GONNA COME IN HERE AND TAKE ME?! HE TOOK ME ONCE WHATS THE CHANCE OF HIM NOT DOING IT AGAIN?!" You were Now screaming something inside you snapped and you charged at Manny and you started swinging at him. You were flying out of the kitchen but really it was just Matthew who grabbed you by the waist and took you back to the bedroom. He released you once you were both inside he shut the door."Look. You don't have to do this at all simply get out out of the house for the day and once he's gone you can come back." He said you started crying because you knew nothing would make things better he would know where you and everyone else were staying. In between sobs "I'm scared he'll hurt me because I left or he'll try to take me." You got out

"Y/N I know you don't quite trust me yet, but I promise you I won't even let him touch you." He brought you into a hug were your tears created a puddle in the creak of his neck. "You should get some sleep. Just let things happen and hope for the best." He said creating small circles with his thumb on your back. Even though you knew sleep would make the morning come fast you agreed heading to bed.

That night Matthew hugged you a bit tighter. It came to your mind that maybe he did change after all.
