It's morning, and I awoke to the chirping of birds and the beeping of the alarm clock. I woke up pretty early today because I wanted to visit Killua again. I didn't have a dream about him that night if I recall I don't actually remember what dream I had but that doesn't really matter. My wish is to always be with Killua. He shouldn't be hiding from other people. I might even try to get him to go to school since he can walk and then he can learn all sorts of things and make loads of cool friends. I lifted the covers off of me and ran my fingers through my messy hair. I headed straight to the bathroom tiptoeing so I wouldn't wake my dad it was 6:05 in the morning and the school doesn't start until 8:00.  I washed my face and brushed my teeth. Having congratulated me on my excellent appearance, I took my uniform from the bathroom shelf and dressed for the day. I grabbed my school bag and took the shell from under my pillow, which I should take as a good luck charm. I slipped it into my pocket and rushed out the door down the flight of stairs. As I watched my dad sleep on his futon, I smiled. I promise we're going to have a great day today. I might even surprise you with something. I slipped my shoes on and said my prayers to my mom. Yes, I did leave without eating breakfast but everything else just seemed much more important at that moment. I whispered goodbye to my father and opened the door, only to discover Bisky. Greetings, Biscuit. Would you mind telling me what you are doing here, or better yet, how do you know where I live? It was just a chance encounter, I was walking someday after school when I saw you heading in this direction. I didn't follow you home as a creep would. Biscuit laughed nervously. Right, Gon dragged out. Anyhow, changing subject, what are you doing up so early. Um, better question why are you at my house this early. Look, I am asking the questions here. As well as my morning runs take place here. Your actions appear to be unexpectedly diverse. You've got jokes, yeah. Provide a response to the question. Ok alright, I just wanted to wander around the sea for a bit this morning before heading to school. Then do you mind if I come with you? It would have been nice if we walked together to school. I'm fine with that, so let's move forward. Biscuit and I continued on our way after closing the door behind us. So why is it that you wanted to visit the sea this early? Is something special Gonna happen. No, not really but I did make a new friend there recently and I wanted to bring him to school. Wow, that's cool! Is it okay if I meet him? Sure, he's right this way. Gon, I've been meaning to ask you something. Your frequent visits here make me wonder why. It makes me a little curious. Actually no a lot curious. Oh right well it just Brings Back memories of my mom she loved the sea as a child and she's the one who got me into enjoying the feel of the water so much. We danced around in the sand as she sang my songs. The best memory I have of her was that she was sweet and always found a way to make me smile. She passed away a few years ago, so I was still young, but I remember her in that way. Often, I come to this spot to feel connected to my mother and not lose those pieces I have left behind. It's also my dad's favorite fishing spot. My apologies for asking. I didn't mean to bring that up. I'm sorry I didn't realize your mom passed away. There's no need to apologize, it's okay. Anyhow, we're here. I must say, it's stunning here. Right, and that's what keeps me coming back. So do you ever swim around in the sea? I'm really good at swimming, and if you need someone to swim with, it's funny, but I really don't know how to swim, and I haven't even tried since my mom passed away. I haven't tried since my mom died. Then we'll have to do it together. I think that will be a good thing to do for you and your mom. Your points are well taken Biscuit. As Gon your so sweet and call me Bisky, please! Bisky, of course. I guess I'm not used to it. Come sit here on the rocks and let's see if he comes. Ok but I don't see how he'll appear just by looking at the water its not like he's a fish or something, or maybe he is if that's what you decided your imaginary friend should be. He's not imaginary Bisky I promise. It takes him a little time to get used to the area where he lives. Yes, I suppose that's true. No matter what you say, let's hope he doesn't take too long. I'm on a schedule and I don't want to ruin my perfect attendance, especially since I'm the class representative, so lookin' good and showing up is important to me. Is his cell phone not available? I didn't get his phone number. You should have, and on that note, you should really take down my number. Here's a piece of paper, write it down and I'll look for Killua. The confidence to say that took me a long time to build. I guess practicing in the mirror four times a day really pays off. Although it's rather funny, you can just tell me whatever is on your mind. Gon got up off the rocks and ran to the sea, shouting over and over, Killua Killua. This time I brought someone new to meet you. I want you to see and experience something cool today. You'll wake up the neighbors if you yell this early in the morning. My apologies. He doesn't seem to want to show his face today. He might not hear you because he is sleeping. Okay, that's clever. I know and that's why they call me Bisky the boss. Do people actually call you that? No, I just decided that would be my new name. Moreover, you knew about it first. That's pretty fortunate for me. While we're waiting, we should go swimming or see who can collect the most shells. Okay, the loser has to buy the winner ice cream. You're on then we'll save the swimming for something special. Huh, what was that Bisky I'm already starting Gon Wow, that's unfair; you didn't even say begin. Both of them laughed and went in different directions to collect shells. I already have eight. Yeah, I have fifteen. Hey, give me some of yours. Their giggles were contagious. He could hear the two friends having fun, and he could see Gon picking out shells, but he missed seeing Bisky. Killua was too nervous to come out of the water for he was not ready to show his self off just yet. It looks so fun out there that maybe I shouldn't back down. I don't see any harm in doing this. Furthermore, I remember how different I looked after I got out of the water. I was so proud as was Gon, I could actually walk like everyone else. So what's stopping me from doing it again. I think I'll come out now. The wind picked up and the water opened up like a portal. The sky was getting darker. Wow, did it just get darker? Biscuit gazed up at the sky. Yeah it did. Killua! A whisper escaped Gon's lips. Um Bisky, it looks like you've won. You should head off to school or something ill follow right behind you. It's still early, so why should I leave you behind? I'd like to surprise you with something else as well. I really appreciate you doing that for me. Once I'm off, please bring your friend by so I can add him to our friend group. Sure thing Bisky. Gon returned his attention to the water after Biscuits had run off. Killua is that you! Water splashed around the portal as it grew bigger. White-hair poked out of the water and then there was Killua. Gon, it's good to see you back. Definitely!I couldn't wait to see you when I got home because I was so excited to see you. Also, I want to take you somewhere, so come on out. Come on. Killua slowly emerged from the water, becoming a human as he ascended to the surface. Every time you do that, it just gets cooler. Yes, it does! So I just thought it would be a good idea to come to school with me. You will be able to see my classmates, and we could walk home together, or you can come by and study with me and Bisky from time to time. Bisky? That's a friend of yours, isn't it? Well no but if you want to call here that you can. But I must get you a uniform before you start school. I know I'm talking a lot but I'm just excited. However, let me ask you a question. Let me hear it. Have you ever been to school? No, I was homeschooled. So I was always by myself I didn't make any friends. Well, bad things always give opportunities for the good. Now you can see what it's like. Gon packed up the sheet of paper Biscuit wrote her number on and the shells. Give me your hand and I'll take you to my house. Nothing will happen because I'm here. Killua gave Gon a nervous look. Don't be shy, my dad will be there too, and he's really friendly. Killua grabbed Gon's hand as they walked back to his house. I can't wait for school it must be pretty awesome since a lot of people go. Some people think it's boring or the worst place in the world, but as long as you have a friend, it's fine. It is great to have friends there, like little kid parents who know you on a much deeper level. That's a unique way of putting it, Killua. As they laughed, they were both heartened. By the way, how is it in the sea or with your parents? My parents. I don't have any but down in the sea, it's a decent life to the ones who want it. That must be painful. I already sort of know what it feels like to lose your parents. It is true that my father is still alive, but my mother is not. I'm glad you have something to look forward to with the sea. But just know if things get hard you could always find people Like family. Spend some time up here and tell me all about it. Thank you, Gon. I really needed that. Whenever you like! Hey, you wanna have a race with me for the rest of the way. I hope my legs are strong enough for running. We'll have to see what happens. Let's start then. As he sprinted with his arms out and the wind trailing behind him, Gon and Killua smiled continuously and laughed. I can run! You're doing it, and someday we'll fly right up to the stars so you won't have to watch down here, you'll be the light shining up there. Gon smiled and continued ahead, and Killua watched with admiration as his heart beat faster than his legs. Yeah well get there someday and Killua reached Gon and they took hands running together. They paused for a while and took a break. Out of breath, Gon said, "That was so much fun.". You're all sweaty and school hasn't even started yet. Well, that's gross, so I'll have to wash. Ok, this is my house come in and ill help you get situated. I'm going to take a quick shower and you can talk to my dad. Okay. There is an entrance to the house. I'm home, Dad. Oh, there you are. I was looking everywhere for you. Why did you get up so early. I just wanted to get a friend ready for their first day. A new student? Is it your friend from yesterday? Yes. So he's actually here right behind me is it ok if he comes in. Yeah, let's see him also just make sure you get ready. My shift begins soon, so I must leave for work. Ok, you hear that Killua you can come in. Consider it your second home. Killua grabbed onto Gon's arms and hid behind him as he stepped out of the way. What's wrong Killua it's ok. I'm too scared to go. what you came all this way. There's no way you can just leave now. Though I know what you mean, I am not sure that I am ready. OK, I'll tell you what, I'll close your eyes and lead the way, then you won't have to see anyone and when we get upstairs you'll just be with me. OK, just don't trick me. I promise I won't Gon laughed. Gon led Killua through the door, sorry, he is a little shy, but you will have a proper conversation eventually. No worries, just make sure you get to school on time and be nice. The two of us will. Okay, Killua and Gon were walking up the stairs.  At the top of the stairs, Gon went to his bedroom and retrieved his spare uniform from the closet. Now you can open your eyes. Wow, this is your bedroom?  Yes, it is. I have never experienced anything like it, especially in the ocean. You can always stay the night in Killua if you wish. Really! I will make sure I do that then. Ok, you do that but try on this uniform. It's been a long time since I put clothes on. I couldn't imagine that. You can put it on in here or in the bathroom. It will save me time if I do it here. As Killua changed into his uniform, Gon sat on the bed and watched. The more he looked he tried to look away. For a middle school boy, you sure have a nice body, I'm kinda jealous. I'm not sure how to feel about that. Oh! did I say that out loud just forget I said that anyways you look really good in the uniform it fits perfectly Well you don't need a school bag since it's your first day so you'll just have to borrow from me? I'm heading out Gon. The sound of yelling could be heard downstairs. Be safe, dad. He closed the door behind him. We should get going now since Bisky is waiting for me and it's probably time for school.  As his arms were raised, Killua said, "Let's go to school." Yep, and then they were off.
