Sitting in the middle of the Living room at Ethan's house, I was pretty nervous. Knowing Sarah she would probably pick me to go into that damn closet next. Sure enough, here comes Benny and some random girl, meaning their turn was over. Just as I expected Sarah comes to me with the bowl of names.

"Why don't you go next!" She smiled at me

I sighed and reached my hand into the bowl, I just grabbed one that was off the top. I was nervous as I opened the piece of paper. As if it wasn't bad enough that I had to play this stupid game, but I had to go in there with SARAH.

Sarah must've read the paper over my shoulder because she continued with, "Alright let's go then."

So here I am in a closet, that's really dark, but I have to be in here with my best friend that is like really pretty.

"Um so," she said awkwardly, "I really like your skirt."

"Oh, um thanks." I awkwardly smiled

"So, were you hoping to be in here with anyone specific?" she asked me

"NO!," I replied with a laugh, "I was hoping to not be in here, at all."

We giggled with each other for a few seconds.

"But I guess out of all people it's best that I'm in here with you, 'cause you're like my best friend," I smile.

"But what about you," I continue, " Who were you hoping to be in here with?"

"Well, the person I wanted to be with is right here in front of me," she smiled at me

"Oh really, you didn't want to be in here with one of the boys and do whatever it is that people do in here," I laughed

"No I do, that's why I'm to be in here with you," She said looking away

"What?" I asked confused

"Y/n what I'm trying to say is that I really like you and not just in a friend way. But I've been too scared to say it in fear of ruining our friendship."

Oh my god, I can't believe this, I had started to catch feelings for her but ignored them because I thought she would never love me back. But now I'm hearing her say that she likes me. AND I literally just friend-zoned her like a minute ago.

"Sarah, I like you too. I just thought the same thing, that it would ruin our friendship if I told you."

She looked shocked for a moment before she smiled at me excitedly. I smiled back but suddenly I felt her lips on mine. I melted into the kiss as I wrapped my arms around her waist. It felt so amazing and I could tell she had been waiting for this moment for a long time.
