BOOM.

A gunshot went off. Lucinda closed her eyes, thinking she was the one who was shot, but she opened it and realized it wasn't her. She looked at the ground and saw Joseph lying on the floor.

The lady next to her turned around to see some guy standing there aiming his gun, she was about to shoot him, but he shot her. He looked away and turned his attention back at Lucinda, who still had her gun aimed straight.

The guy moved a little forward, but she pointed her gun at him, and he lifted his hands in the air.

"Lucinda De Leon right?" He asked.

"Who the hell are you, and how the fuck do you know my name?" She asked.

"Come with me," The guy said, coming a bit closer until she pointed her gun at him again.

"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?" She yelled.

"Ma'am, relax. All your questions will be answered if you just come with me," He replied

"Like hell, I will. The last time I trusted a man, I ended up in prison," Lucinda said.

"Yeah, and if you don't come with me, you might just end up in prison again, so are you willing to take that risk?" He argued.

Lucinda rolled her eyes and kept walking until she realized her feet weren't even on the ground. She looked and saw the guy was carrying her off her feet.

"What the hell," She yelled. He chuckled a bit and kept walking until they made it out of a sewer and into a car. Lucinda looked around on high alerts.

"Are you gonna tell me where we're going?" Lucinda asked, but the guy didn't respond one bit.

"You know I have the right to be answered,"

"You also have the right to shut the fuck up," He said. She scoffed and reached for the door handle; however, it was on child lock.

"Yeah, you thought you were getting away that easy?" He said and chuckled. Lucinda groaned and sat back.

She looked out the window and stared at everything. It felt odd. She wasn't in jail anymore. She was free.

A couple of minutes later, they found themselves parked outside of this tall hotel. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. Then, finally, the car door opened, and she got out.

She looked around and looked back at him. She tried to make a run for it as she looked around, but he grabbed her by the arm.

"Oh, you thought it was gonna be that easy, huh?" He asked and laughed.

"What the hell do you want from me?" She asked.

"You ask a lot of questions," He said and led her inside. As they walked inside, she saw people just walking around, some people on the phone, others talking, etc.

They made it to the front desk, where there was a lady on the phone. She hung up
the phone and looked at Lucinda then made her eyes to the guy.

"We're here to see Mr. García," He said. For a second, the lady looked like she had a bit of fear in her eyes, but he nodded her head. She handed him a card, and he dragged Lucinda into an elevator.

He pressed a button and placed his hand on the screen. The screen looked as if it was scanning his hand, and then it showed his name.

"Benjamin Sanchez," Lucinda accidentally said out loud. He looked at her as if he was upset.
