Part 22- why?

Jasmines POV
So I saw Anthony kissing some other girl and I'm not mad at him for some reason. Just very very upset. Maybe it's my fault

I left to get us breakfast and there he was kissing some girl in the doorway of his apartment, not even trying to hide it.

I felt my whole body tense up, I immediately dropped the food I bought and ran off. Pippa lived close so I went to see her.

I knocked on the door, she answered with a confused face, I'm assuming because she wasn't expecting anyone. Then her face quickly changed when she saw me crying and she pulled me into a hug.

"Jazzy what happened" she pulled me in to her apartment and we sat on her couch.

Pippas POV
There was a knock on my door, it was still early so and I wasn't expecting anyone but I answered anyway. It was Jasmine, she was crying. I immediately hugged her.

"Jazzy what happened" I asked as we sat on the couch.

She told me everything that happened from last night till this morning

"And I got home, he was kissing some other girl" she didn't seem mad, just sad.

"That bitch, I'm gonna-" I can be mad enough for the both of us

"No Pips, I'm alright you don't need to do anything" she sniffled, interrupting me

I was enraged. I love Anthony, he's my family with the rest of the cast but he hurt my sister and that's not ok with me.

We talked more until there was another knock at my door.

I opened it to see Anthony, I managed not to yell at him but did give him the biggest death glare ever.

He wanted to see Jazzy but I couldn't let him. He almost started crying and I almost felt bad for him but I couldn't, not when Jasmine is crying behind us.

Jasmines POV
I was at Pippas, crying when there was a knock on the door. I just knew it was Anthony without even seeing him.

She opened the door and talked with him, I couldn't hear what they were saying and I was too sad to care.

Pippa came back and sat next to me, "who was that?" I asked already knowing it was Ant

"It was uh-"

"Anthony" I interrupting her

"Yeah" she sighed "but I told him you don't wanna talk with him"

"But is it bad if I do?" I said and she looked at me confused "shouldn't I at least let him explain what happened?"

"I mean yeah but he was with another girl Jas, you're allowed to be upset, you don't have to talk to him right now"

"But I should. I love him Pips, what if what I saw wasn't what happened at all"

"I love you Jas you know that" I small smile grew across my face, "and I don't want you to be hurt, I don't want him to hurt you again"

"And he's my best friend I don't think he would ever do that on purpose"

"You still trust him after that, you're too good for this world" she hugged me again.

"I wanna talk to him" I decided, "but not now, I'm a mess" I chuckled, wiping the tears off my face.

Pippa helped me prepare myself to talk to him, I went back to his apartment a few hours later. I knocked on the door, he answered and immediately wrapped his arms around me.

His face was worried and covered with dry tears. I didn't hug him back but followed him inside and we stood in silence for a moment

"Jas?" He quietly spoke with a nervous tone. "I know what you saw but please let me explain"

"That's why I'm here" I chuckled, trying to lighten the mood although I was still so sad.

After that, he didn't say anything I think he was trying to decide what to say, maybe come up with an excuse.

"Why?" My voice cracked after he didn't say anything. "I understand that y-you probably just don't want to be with me but- why?" I let myself cry

"No no that's not it at all, I love you so much Jas I couldn't explain how much you mean to me"

"Then why" all I could ask was why

"Let's sit down, I'll explain everything" he reached out his hand, I took it.

He explained everything to me, "you have a kid?" I asked

"I don't know, she was sleeping with 4 other guys while we were together it might not be mine"

"That's horrible Ant" who would do that to him or to anyone?

"It doesn't matter anymore, I don't care cause I've got you, right?" He asked nervously

"You always got me, as long as you want me here" I replied, now I know what happened.

"I love you" he whispered

"I love you too" a smile grew across my face.

"I'm so glad you let me explain this to you, I don't know what I would do without you" he pulled me into a hug

"I still love you even after what I saw without an explanation, I had to let you explain"

"And I love you for that" he squeezed me tighter. I'm so glad I decided to talk to him.
