The Past: Lazuli and Silvia

"GIVE IT YOUR ALL JOEYYYYYYY! Because it will be mine."

Joey actually hears this but continues moving forward. He then hears an, "Excuse me!", but too injured to respond, he doesn't move out of the way and gets knocked by a Sylveon. 

"See? That's what happens when you don't move! But I'm sorry. I shouldn't have been in a rush to a family dinner."

"Makes sense Silvia. They are welcoming home the Berserker's parents."

"How did you know?"

"Because you can say that I had an encounter with them."

"You tried to beat lil' bro?" Another voice interjects. Another Sylveon is revealed. "He will get mad and you don't want to know what he is like when he's mad. So don't bother fighting him."

"It's okay, Sunshine. Looks like he is already beaten up anyways." Silvia addresses the other Sylveon, revealed to be Speed and Lazuli's adopted kid, Sunshine.

"Apparently, Silvia. Looks like the Yellow Flash still has some beat."

"I guess you are on your way to the PokéCenter in Icebox. Go on. We are not here to murder you. We are here to understand why you are doing this. Be on your way, I don't want to waste your time." Silvia, although pissed, doesn't injure Joey anymore than he is. 

"Ok, hope I see you." The Jolteon weakly replies.

"Btw, she's still cute."

"If you stop this nonsense, maybe I'll marry you. But continue doing this, Joe, just throw your chances for being with me at all."

"Wait, you like him, Sunshine?"

"Please talk about it later."

"Anyways, Joey, just stop trying to kidnap Pat. Please?"

"I personally don't know why I am doing this either. I would rather do this than challenging the former champion."

"Okay then Joe, we'll never know when we might get together."

Joey then walks off to the nearest Pokécenter to heal himself, while Silvia and Sunshine head to Pat's house. 

"Do you really like Joey? After all, he's done to you?"

"I've had a crush on him since high school. He got the courage to ask me out on a date, which I really enjoyed. However, after joining Team Ascent, we were really disconnected and never saw each other till now. He has had many struggles in his home life, but with the way he is acting now, going after my bro, I have mixed feelings. One part of me wants me to go back with him, another wants me to separate with him altogether."

"So you're saying that he was your boyfriend?"

"Yeah, kind of. But like I said, the way he acts now."

"Okay, I am really sorry for asking why. I was just worried."

"Now you have nothing to worry about!"

Meanwhile...

"Pat. It's going to be okay. We know you're angry, but just calm down." Crystal reassures Pat that he is safe with his friends and family.

"WHY?! I COULD HAVE DIED BECAUSE OF HIM!"

"We understand. Just calm down. We are here for you anytime." 

The glowing eyes then disappear and are replaced with tears as Pat regrets the things he did and said.

"I can't believe I did this... I don't understand, *cries* just, may I go to my room to settle things?"
