Chapter: 02

POV: Zayla

"What do you think Zay ths all white tight cute snow suit or the blue and white snow tight snow suit?" Leah asked laying out both outfits.

"I THINK you should just stay the resort where its safe." I tried reasoning with her.

"Omg Zay, if your so worried why don't you just come with me then." I can tell Leah was getting irrated with me, but I am only worried about her saftey.

I start to think about it. Maybe I could just help her walk there and make sure she safe then come back. Great plan ZayZay.

"Alright I will com-"

"Yay, I knew you would change your mind I already know what outfit tou can wear." Leah digged threw her suitcase and took out a pink and white tight snow suit.

"Let me finish instead of rudely interupting me. I will walk you to the party to make sure your safe." Leah gave me a dead look.

"Really. . You know what fine whatever floats your boat." She took the white and blue outfit and walked into the bathroom to change.

I also got myself ready to walk in the deep cold snow.

We headed out the back entrance of the resort which lead into the woods. I took out my phone to use as a flashlight as we got further away from any nearby lights.

Leah decided to be in charge of navigating throigh the woods from the photo Pavel sent Leah.

Its been almost an hour and we still haven't seen any distant light or sound anywhere.

"Leah, are we going the right way?" I said leaning over her shoulder to see that she was texting some boy back at home.

"Are you serious! You beg me to be on this trip, and now you want to go to a party, but you busy on your phone with some boy instead of looking at the map!" I was mad, irrated, and tired.

"Woah chill Zay. Look im sorry, dont worry I will look at the map." I rolled my eyes while Leah hummed a tune while looking at the photo. "Alright we head down this hill then take a left. Sorta like a short cut. Lets go! When your with me there is nothing to fear." I groaned and followed behind her.

Leah seemed to be trying to quickly get down the hill, while I took my time trying not to trip and fall. "Hurry up slow poke, I think I hear somethung." Leah yelled as she was half way down the hill.

"Just wait a moment I-"

"Meet me at the bottom." Is thsi what I get trying to make sure my friend get to this party safely. Yes.

I coutined me slow journey down the hill until I heard something, sorta like a growl. No. I stopped to listen, it was getting louder. Then I felt rummbling. Don't tell me. I slowly looked behind me to see tons and tons of snow coming down the smae hill as me.

I qyickly started running down tge hill. "LEAH RUNNN." I shouted at the top of my lungs. I could faintly hear Leah say something. "I SAID RU-" Before I could finish what I had to say I tripped and went tummbling down.

I was getting scraped up by rocks and the snow and tree roots from the ground. Then I felt myself fall off a clif and seconxs later land on a big hard rock. I tires to keep my eyes open, but all I sas was big pile of snow falling on to me. Finally, it went dark.

I have woken to feeling unbelievely cold, I was shaking hard. It took a lot out of me to open my eyes, but I manged to only to see utter darkness.

I took my gloves off to feel around my srroundings and evening doing that was a pain. I flet cold fluffy snow. Now it clicked to me I am buried in the snow. I try to move or wiggle my body, but I felt a peircing feeling on my right leg abd left rib. I guess im hurt prettg bad.

But I need to get out of here, no one with find me if I stay here. Come on ZayZay you got this! I used my arms to dig through the snow, seeing as they were thw only things working fine enough to bare the movement.

I was able to make a hole through the side. Now I just need to pull my self out. Easy said then done ZayZay.

I got my arms and hands in postion ready to lift my self up. Okay, on 3. 1. . .2. . .3 I did one big push and I screamed in pain and evwn doing rhat hurt. It took me some mintues to calm myself down. My head was almost out the hole good.

As I was about to put myself in postuon again. I see someons in the far distance. Yes! Maybe they can help, but I need to do another push. I dont think I can handle that but I got to.

Finishing getting in I did the count down again heistanting slightly. But I did it pushing my self so far to fall off the big boulder rock and onto the ground. I screamed and screamed from the pain from my leg and rib. I can feel myself about to passout again.

I look over to the direction tge man and I can see him running up to me. Thank god help.
