"There you are! I literally got home hours ago. Is everything okay?" Riley asked.
"A man grabbed me at the pub where I'll be working. But before you go all panic Riley, the manager came to my rescue. He was actually really nice," Maya said as Riley shook her head.
"Oh good grieve. And my dad was worried about me falling in love. Who is he?" Riley asked.
"Guessing your uncle Josh," Maya said as Riley rolled her eyes.
"Fair enough. What did you think of the place itself?" Riley asked.
"Besides the drunk man it wasn't too bad. Ugh Riley. He was a dream guy," Maya said falling down on the couch as Riley looked at her.
"Good grieve. One guy and your smitten," Riley said.
"If it's love, it's love. He's everything I've ever dreamed about. My dream guy," Maya said.
"I'm making some cold ice water to throw on your head before you end up falling so hard for this guy you won't see what's good for you," Riley said as she went to the kitchen seeing how Maya was still looking at the ceiling.
Riley smiled as she was happy her best friend had finally found someone to trust with her heart but she was then also afraid of how Maya would react if her uncle breaks Maya's heart into pieces.
