Y/N's POV
Ever since Cesar and i started dating i could sense a little tension between me and monse and between her and cesar and that is something that i didn't want to happen ruby and jamal were all for me and cesar getting together they were more happy about us getting together than we were which was kinda weird in a way but i didn't mind i loved them they were like my second brothers i loved them the only person that didnt like it was monse and i couldn't figure out why she distanced herself from me when i told her me and cesar were together i was gonna end up talking to her about it later

Right now we were all at lunch ruby and jamal were going on about the rollerworld money next to them were jasmine and monse jasmine was rambling about something and monse was trying to keep up with whatever she was saying and across from them was me and cesar he had his arm wrapped around my shoulder and i was scrolling on my phone looking at something i cut my phone off at look up at monse shooting daggers at me i sigh and get up to walk away pulling monse along with me "can you please tell me what's wrong you've been avoiding me these past few days" she looks at me and sighs "you and cesar that's what's wrong how could you date him Seriously after everything we have been through as friends you're gonna go to one of my best friends y/n i thought you were better than that really" i was kinda taken back by what she just said i didn't know that she would have been upset by me and cesar dating as far as i knew they never dated they were just really close so i wasn't breaking any girl code by dating him

"I didn't know i needed your permission to date cesar if you have feelings for him just come out at say it but don't paint me as the bad person because i caught feelings for him news flash monse that's something i can't control look you're my best friend and i don't want this friendship to be affected because of my relationship with cesar he makes me happy why can't you be happy for me you're my best friend" i hear her sigh and pull me into a tight bone crushing hug she pulls away from me i shoot her a very confused look "im sorry y/n i havent been the best friend i was just jealous that now that you are with cesar that you're gonna forget about me and spend all of your time with cesar i don't want you to leave me y/n" i sigh letting out a soft chuckle "you're not gonna lose me monse you're still gonna be my best friend you're still my girl dont worry not dude is gonna come between this friendship we got going on

She pulls me into another hug and she wraps her arm around and we walk back over to the table and back to where we were sitting cesar wraps his arm back around my shoulder kissing my forehead "everything good with you two" he whispered in my ear nodding his head towards monse i nod and turn my head to him planting a quick kiss on his lips "yeah everything is good

Everything is back to the way it was i had my best friends and my boyfriend what else can i ask for
