They were B-rank adventurers and their party leader was A-rank mid adventurers.
They were planning a sneak attack on the small village 'Naroki', it was less populated village Which consists of around 100 members, and its residents are mostly Demihumuns, few are elves, and few Humans, it is located at the border of the Holy kingdom near the Mountain range surrounded by a dense forest hence adventurer rarely seen here, as for their merchandise, villagers go to near town which 5 days far from Naroki village by horses, this village belongs to the Premium Kingdom but kingdom doesn't give too much attention to this lower-class village, and theses adventures belong to the Premium Kingdom, adventurers were requested by the village chief for wyvern subjugation near the village.

After the wyvern subjugation, adventurers were resting in an empty house that was given by the village chief for them as their resting place and for sleeping.

After the subjugation village, people delightedly welcomed the whole adventurer's party and made many dishes wholeheartedly because of happiness, surely it was a miracle to find any high ranking adventurer near the border range, villagers talked with adventurers, celebrated with booze (it is a low-quality Wine) for few hours.

In the middle of the celebration, one of the villagers talked about the wolf guardian spirit which was like a god for villagers, it was possessed by the village chief.
When party leader heard about this, he took interest in it, he came to a villager and set beside him, became friendly with him, a villager told everything, how strong wolf spirit is and how wolf spirit defeated many wyverns and how many years wolf guardian sprit has defended their village from monster attacks many times, villager also told that Wolf Spirit was Resting because of the previous fight with the den of wyverns and it was full of injuries, it takes almost few weeks for wolf spirit to fully healed.
The Party leader was already forming a plan for looting the village, but after hearing this he became excited and happy, it was a win situation for him, the party leadership decided that he will keep Wolf guardian spirit for himself. the reason they were staying here was so that they can easily loot this village, they have already seen village people have many rare and valuable things, so they formed a plan, where they will destroy the whole village after taking every valuable item and money and they were happy because there would be no Investigation if the village was destroyed due to location of the village which was near the border and surrounded by dense forest, near mountain range at the edge of both Holy kingdom and the Premium Kingdom.

There was one thing which was disadvantageous for the village, it was mostly populated by demihumans, both kingdom's people despise the demihumans hence there were no problems killing demihumans.
Demi-human are residents of the human kingdom but treated as lower class or slaves in the human kingdom. But they were still the kingdom's people if by chance someone investigated, hence they decided to slaughter every single villager.

In the middle of, when every member of the village was lost in sleeping, adventurers were divided into a group of 3 members.
Every adventurer group entered the house quietly and looted, and killed each family member.
As they advance they also burnt the house they looted previously, almost near half of the village was destroyed, adventurers killed every one children, women, and elders without discrimination, they killed everyone who came in their site as they advanced towards their direction, which was chief's house.

When the fire reaches to remaining villagers houses, they got out from their houses and felt fear, despair and cold sweats were being released by everyone's faces, this was hell for them and another thing Guardian spirit can't save them because it was resting, village people became frightened and they ran for their lives towards village chief's house, but adventurers wore devilish smiles & started to slaughtering women, children, men and elders, at the end they could not escape their death, but some of the villagers managed to escape and they briefly explained everything to the chief.
