When i was writing this chapter i was listening to "How to Love" by Lil Wayne, "Sex ain't better than love" by Trey Songz and "Sorry" by Ciara

Danae's POV

"It started out when you ended up passing out" I tell her

"See Omari had you in his arm with a gun to your head and I had 911's number dialed in my phone" I say remembering

"Put the phone down or else I shoot your sister" he warned me

I lightly placed the phone down and he dropped you before grabbing me and holding me down.

"Your mine, and only mine. Make any sneaky shit and your sister won't live
to see another day"

"O-Ok"

With that he threw my phone into the wall shattering it to pieces before kicking us out of his house. Battered and bruised

"And ever since then I've been protecting you"

"Why didn't you tell me this" she asked with her eyebrows scrunched up

"One because you would try being ms. Reasonable and I just wanted you to be safe"

"But you can't let him hurt you like that" she argues back

"Look, I'm fine, besides I can bearly feel it" I lie

"So him nearly having people rape you is fine" she asks sarcastically

"It doesn't matter, as long as your safe. Anyways..... did you know mom isn't as oblivious as we thought"

"She isn't?"

"Nah, turns out she used to be in an abusive relationship but then she got out of it"

"How?"

"Let's just say, mom's a boss ass bitch" I say making us both start laughing

As we laughed my phone started ringing and the caller ID read YøurKing. Naomi shot me a look saying Nigga-You-Better-Answer-That-Phone while
I pressed Decline.

I know you guys might be slightly confused about why I'm mad at Jermaine and confused on what he did but here's the explanation. Jermaine and I slept together. It happened like this

Flashback

"Jermaine stop playing" I say after we walk home from the date he took me on

"i'm not playing, I really like you danae" he says shocking me

"You serious"
"Yeah, serious enough to take you on that table" he says when we enter the house

"Well then what we waiting fo, let's see how serious you are"

No he did not take me on the table but it did end up happening and now.... I'm trying to avoid him because he probably thinks i'm the biggest slut... anyways back to the story

"Why the hell would you do that?" Naomi yells while smacking my arm

"I don't want to talk to him" I shrug nonchalantly

"Come on Danae, I know you like him
so just go after him"

"Why?"

"Cause if you don't your gonna complain for months about how you didn't go after him and he could be in your room all hugged up and shit.... and I don't wanna hear that" Naomi says making me mean mug her
