Jermaine's POV

I looked between Taylah, my best friend, Danae, my girlfriend and my mom and already knew shit was bout to go down.

"Taylah what the hell you doing here?" She walks to me and presses herself on me before whispering in my ear "I'm here to claim what's mine, Sleeping with you didn't give me closure it showed me how much I love you". My eyes got bigger and I could feel Danae watching me with a raised eyebrow. My dad shook his head disapprovingly before saying

"Taylah I would appreciate if you could get your hoe ass off my son" Danae bursts into laughter but tries to cover it
up with a cough while my mom and Taylah look horrified.

"David, how dare you talk to our daughter in law like that" my mom scolds earning a smile from Taylah

"Your What!" My dad, Danae and I yell together

"Oh son come on, you don't think I would allow you to marry someone like......her" Danae clenches her fist but keeps a smile on her face

"thank you for your input Mrs. Jackson but I would appreciate if you would keep them to yourself when your not one to talk" venom drips off every word yet she remained smiling. My dad gives her a high five and leads her to the kitchen while talking about sports and games. I finally push Taylah off of me and she gives me a playful frown
before running off to see my mom. I run my fingers through my short hair and try to remember when things were never this complicated. wait..... it always was.My little brother Hayden came downstairs and when he saw me gave me a big hug. My brother pretty much resembled me with his short cut hair, light brown eyes and chubby cheeks. For a 10 year old he had all the ladies unlike me when I was younger.

"Jermaine, you owe me ten dollars you know" he reminds me

"I know and you'll get it one day" I shove my hands into my pockets and Danae comes out the kitchen with my dad laughing. When she sees Hayden he runs and hugs her as I stand confused. how do they know each other?

Danae caught my confused looked and
explained "I met Hayden at his school when I volunteered there and he was always being nice to me so I declared him king of everything"

"mhm so she's mine big bro" he says causing Danae to laugh

"nah Lil home she's mine"

"nah this is my wifey, I'll drop all my hoes for her" He grins and danae laughs

"well he got you beat there Jermaine"

"mhm, we'll see" I say pulling her body towards me

"Dinners ready" I pull Danae to the kitchen and ignore the flirty looks i was getting from Taylah and the evil ones i got from my mother.This will definatly be an interesting dinner.

Danae's POV

Never in my life have i ever wanted to kill someone till today. The whole entire dinner Taylah was talking to Jermaine and flirting with him and of course him being oblivious (or just a straight dumb ass) laughed and flirted back. The dinner ended with me talking to his dad, who i found out was a high school guidance counciler and his little brother, who thinks im his girl.

"It was nice having you Danae" David hugs me tightly and whispers in my ear "If you ever need someone to talk to, im here" before letting me go with a kiss to the forehead. His mom hugs Taylah tightly and sends me a smug grin before hugging Jermaine and sending us on our way.

"Jermaine?"

"Yes"

"I forgot that my roommate would be outtonight and i dont have my key, is there any chance i could stay at your place"
