We get out of Q's Van and we (me (Blade) and Wynter) walk into the lab. tonight we have the night shift and we have to clean up the lab. we were pretty scared. we heard that the last people who worked the night shift went missing. we turned on the old light. it flickered then hummed on. the lab had been abandoned for two years and there was a mess of papers, broken empty vials, and dust-covered things for miles. for some reason, there was a strange big mirror that covered almost all the walls.
Q: I'll start filing the papers.
Wynter: And I'll clean up the glass.
Blade: guess I'm on dusting duty.
I dusted the phone and plugged it in. no matter than two seconds after the phone rang.
Blade: *picks up phone*
Blade: hello?
???: there is no time for introductions. listen there is a curse on the lab and you need to break it.
Blade: and how do I do that?
???: you must find 7 objects in seven days before midnight on the seventh day.
???: the first two objects are hidden together. in the trial rooms.
???: the other four are scattered in the attic and one is buried with a corpse in the yard.
???: the first two objects are the serum gun and antidote located in the trial room.
???: then you need 4 serums from the attic and a keycard from the corpse.
???: good luck.
Blade: wait-
before I could ask what all this was about the phone cut to a buzzing noise. I told Q and Wynter what was up. just then three shadowy hands started trying to escape out of the big mirror. the three of us started walking to the door to leave when the door locked and Q's keys didn't work. soon blood filled the big mirror and writing appeared. the writing read: F R E E U S. just then more hands appeared to be pushing out the mirror. suddenly more empty vials started falling off the shelves and shattered all over the floor.
Blade whispering to Q and Wynter: we need to go find the serum gun and antidote in the trial room first.
we sneek past the chaos upstairs into the trial rooms. we search every corner when we find a box under the bed that contains the serum gun and antidote. I told Wynter and Q to stay in the trial room while I call the man on the phone.
amistd the chaos downstairs I spotted the phone an snuck to it, when I realized I didn't know the direct number. so I decided to try something. i picked up the phone without dialing it and spoke.
Blade: Hello?
???: yes?
Blade: i found the first two items, now what?
???: put them in front of the mirror.
i hang up the phone and ran to the mirror when i felt something start tugging me back. it was an invisible force tugging my lab coat. i threw the box with the items at the mirror when everything stopped and i fell forward. i looked up and saw the mirror consuming the box. i called Q and Wynter down and we left.
