Chapter 2 – Bone Crushing Hugs.
“So how’s Danielle?!” I asked excitedly, suddenly remembering Liam’s girlfriend.
“She’s great! Excited to see you. She won’t be at the house tonight because she has practice for a show, but she’ll be around tomorrow.” Liam replied, with the most loving smile on his face.
Whenever Liam talked about Danielle, the amount of love that would show up on his face just made me want to burst out with ‘awes’. He really cared for her, and never failed to gush to me about how much. I was really happy for him, and as a plus she never questioned Liam and I’s relationships like his past girlfriends had.
Danielle and I were really close actually. Liam always said he regretted the second he introduced us to each other because we would always go into ‘girl mode’ and exclude him. What a pouty child he his. Us girls were instantly friends and kept nearly as much contact as Liam and I did.
“Yay!” I clapped, “I’m excited to see her too… miss her. Who’s she dancing for now?” I asked.
“Nothing to big at the moment, just a small company and some local down-town shows. She’s hoping to get a part in one of Cheryl Cole’s new videos though.” He smiled proudly.
“That’s great! I’m making you take me to watch her sometime. Which reminds me… these tours you’re forcing me to tag along with, tell me about them.”
“Well,” He started, “We start next week with some promotion and small shows around Europe. That’ll last a few weeks. Then we’re heading to America for another few weeks, and we’ll be home for Christmas!”
“Liam Payne… you’re bringing me to America?” I questioned sceptically.
“Yup. You’re going to love it.” He replied rather matter of factly.
I’ve never been to America. I also haven’t been on a plane for seven years… so I was definitely nervous about that one.
Liam and I spent the next while talking, and catching up with each other. I was a two hour drive from Wolverhampton to London but we weren’t quiet for a second of it.
-
It was around dinner time when we got into the city and we decided to stop for some food before heading back to the apartment. Since Zayn had texted Liam being impatient and telling us to hurry up, we just quickly went for some MacDonald’s.
Paying for the food, and grabbing our tray I headed over to the table Liam was sitting it. He was texting away on his phone with a mischievous look on his face… and I just had a feeling that I wasn’t going to like what that look meant.
“Liam… What’s that smile about?” I asked wearily, sitting down across from him.
He wriggled his eyebrows at me, biting into his burger before answering.
“I forgot to tell you…” he said with a mouthful of food “I plan on setting you up.”
I nearly choked on my soda when he said this, “Excuse me? What do you mean you’re ‘setting me up’?”
“I mean… there is a boy, and I am going to try to get you two together.” He replied casually.
“I’m sorry… but who said this way okay?” I challenged, raising an eyebrow.
“Well obviously not you, but I’ve got Danielle and the boys on my side so it’s happening whether you like it or not.”
I groaned loudly at the smug look on his face. He may have won over this conversation… but there is no way I am letting him set me up, again. It didn’t end well the first time. Let’s just say, last time Liam tried to set me up I ended up with my purse being robbed, and Liam was apologizing for weeks afterward.
