Hiro's pov
I kept pacing around the room, thinking about Karmi when she left me. 'This is all my fault. I should have told her truth before.' I thought. My phone started buzzing then, revealing Karmi's text. 'Meet me at SFIT tonight. We have to talk.' Karmi texted, sending me goosebumps. I replied with an okay and laid down at my bed, thinking about the worse things that could happen later on with Di out. My friends were on patrol to find her, leaving me here since they weren't comfortable with Di's hunt on me. 'Ugh.. like I said, what's the worst that could happen?'
In Dark Volt's Hideout
DV walked from left to right, pondering about his plans with Hiro. He have needed the other's obedience, but he wanted more for himself. His plans with the real Dark Volt would have succeeded if it wasn't for Boss Awesome and his partner. He looked through a video where he convinced Obake to start his dream project with Hiro. Using his invention as an advantage for himself was a splendid idea. Although persuading Hiro to join him after telling him about his plan wasn't very clever. He needed Hiro on his side. Even if Di could turn him into something..more, he still wouldn't want that. He wanted something different. He then remembered the neurotransmitter Hiro build. Hmm... Maybe his plan could work after all. All he needs is someone to help get him here to him. Going through Di's room where she got to contact with Hiro, he noticed a girl beside him. 'Must be someone dear to him.' He thought. That when it hit him. 'Watch out little girl. I'm coming for you...'
Karmi's pov
"Where is Hiro?" I asked as I sat on a bench near the SFIT building. I must have embarrassed him by all those stories and fan fiction. A flash of light came through my direction. I saw Hiro getting off his bike, strolling towards me. "H-Hey Karmi." Hiro said with a grin that always gets me. "H-Hey Hiro." I replied with a grin of my own. "Before you say anything else, I just want to say...I'm sorry...for all the fan fiction and everything" Hiro sat down beside and placed his hand on the back of my palm. "Thanks. And I just wanted to say I'm sorry too...for not telling the truth. I just thought if I did, I would put you in some kind of danger and I just don't want that." Hiro responded, which made me smile at what he said. "I care about you, Karmi. I really do."
"Me too Hiro....me too..."
I said as I laid my head on his shoulder. TBH (to be honest), I've never felt this relaxed after laying my head on his shoulder. I felt warm inside like everything is going to be okay. I intertwined my hand with his hand then. I felt Hiro lay his head on mine then, as his breath hardened bit by bit. I closed my eyes then. We really do care about each other and will do always.
