Tuesday afternoon

Call from home ...

"Hy mom " I've adopted the language here no more Xhosa for me now Lol

"Hy babygirl are you okay ?" Her voice is so down

"Yes I am and you?"

"No"She cries ,! WTF is happening
"Baby it's your Father" I'm starting to panic

"What about utata(dad) ?"

"uTata was involved in a very bad accident Sis"seems like I'm on loudspeaker because Khanyi is on the line now 

"No guys ,where is he ? When did it happen and where" I feel my heart falling onto my kidneys

"He's in ICU and the doctors are saying it doesn't look good,he's head was badly damaged brah! So we were given a week for him to wake up and if he doesn't we will have to..." I cut her

"Noo ! Don't say it ,ain't no machines are getting switched off !!noo " I Cry and scream on the phone 

"Buhlee I'm so sorry mntase (sister) but you have to come back by Friday you should be here anything is possible " My heart is shattered

I ended the call without responding and Cried my lungs out ! There's no way my Male bestfriend would leave me just like that not my Dad ,noo!

I prayed soo hard ,I cried, I walked around the house and tossed all over the bed. 

Why is it so easy for us to get hurt but hard to get happy? Just when I thought things were going well God ,this happens? Please wake him up, my mom won't survive this Father please I ask for forgiveness in whatever my parents might have done, I pray for long life father ,let them be available both to see us as their children succeed

I booked the first flight home which is on Thursday Morning and called Josh and Kath to come over

Kath : Why are we summoned here ?

Kylie : I wanted to tell you both that I'm going back home

Kath : What? Why ? The semester is not yet over !

Josh : You like going for good ? Are you crazy?

Kylie: If you would just let me finish talking!

Josh : Talk then..

Kylie: My Father ... he was involved in a car accident

Kath : "Oh my God" with shock on her face

Kylie : Yeah so it's bad ,He's in ICU and unconscious not responding to the machines  so I'm needed at home and for school I'll apply for online lessons in case I need to stay for long

Josh : How long are you gonna be there ? Till there's some changes in him

Kath : Could take a month ? Or so ?

Kylie: "Yes and No" I see Josh  wanna say something but not doing so

Josh : when will you be leaving?

Kylie :Thursday morning

Josh : "how great " he whispers

My phone rings and it's my sister

"Hello"

"It's bad Buhle , he fought and fought but he lost the fight "She cries on the phone "Akasekho utata(Dad is no more), He's no more!!" NOOOO THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING 

"NOOOO, No Noo No Noo please tell me you joking" She doesn't respond and I feel the tears rolling down my face

She ends the call...

I've never cried this hard in my whole entire life! I've never been this hurt! I've never lost anyone close to my heart! Why did this have to happen! I've lost my Bestfriend,My dad has always been my pillar and now this ? How am I supposed to cope ? How is my Mom

God you broke my mom! My mom is definitely not coping I need to go back home

I didn't even realize I was crying and kneeling down till Josh and Kath pulled me up

"Stand up babe ,please! I'm so sorry this had to happen with you this side "he pulls me to his chest
"This can't be happening!! Noo! " I hear Kath quietly crying,i pull away from Josh and go to hug Kath ,I don't know why I did that

"It's gonna be okay babe , I promise, I know how it feels trust me " she says

Hours pass by and Kath leaves ,leaving me and Josh

"Can you please spend the night with me?" I ask him

"Yes of course "

We spend the whole night cuddling in bed with me crying

Alarm rings! Its 7am , I didn't even see myself sleep and Josh is not in Bed ,where is he? Just as I was about to get off the bed he comes in to the bedroom

"Morning,I've ran a bath for you please go and bath as I make you breakfast and you not going to campus are you? "

"Morning, thank you and No" I giggle

"Your eyes look bad babe "he looks at me with a sad face

"I'll be fine don't worry "'i assure him

"Cool then ,go bath I'll take out your clothes to wear today " ohh that's sweet

I walk out of the bedroom and bathed for maybe 30mins and he kept on checking up on me saying he's afraid I might harm myself

"Kylie you've been in there for 45mins I'm sure the water is cold now " Hell right it is cold

"Okay!!"

As I walk out I smell some divine breakfast from the kitchen and walk straight to the bedroom,the bed is made and he took out some grey tracksuit for me ,after wearing I went to eat though I really had no appetite but I enjoyed

"You wanna talk and get something out of your mind"he says

"Nah,I just wanna go out,sitting in here will depress me"

"Central Park ?"

"Yeah will do" getting some air will do "but let me call my sister first "

"Khanyi "

"Hey sis ,you good? "

"No I'm not and wena no mama (you and mom?) "

She sobs "Mom hasn't eaten nor talked since we were informed and grandma is planning everything but she is not coping at all and again I don't think I can continue being strong for mom ,Sis I need you "

"Don't worry baby I'll be there Friday morning please take care and be strong for mom until I get there okay?" I sob

"Bye, I love you "
