As a kid max used to be super hyper with Bokuto. she went with him to jr. high and middle school.
but she had to leave after her 3rd middle school year because people bullied her and called her a demon or some kind of monster because of her hair and her attitude. she wasn't exactly rude but not friendly.
she started taekwondo in her 3rd jr high year because of the bullying. her hair went from black to white on one side, and people started to find her scary, but bokuto never left her side but the bullying got to the point where she needed self-defense to protect herself.
Her other friend from childhood was sam (another OC). they started to interact with each other at a festival since max got lost and started to cry like a little bitch.
their relationship when they were little was like "my mom said I can sleep over" and then all you could hear at night were demon noises like wtf 👀.
and once Max almost burned her room down at a sleepover because of a chemistry experiment what was she trying to do she mumbled abt it. but sam didn't understand shit and just wanted to sleep. 😃
