I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE

There is this continuous thud that completely ruins my dreamless sleep. It is a Saturday for crying out loud. Why would someone be so mean?

"Sienna, if you do not open this door right now I am going to have to break it down." I hear my mother's voice as it cuts through the repeated knocking on the door.

"Mom go away!" I furiously shout, my voice still husky from sleep.

"Sienna we are leaving whether you like it or not so I would get packing if I were you." my mother says obviously aggravated by my obnoxious behaviour.

I hear the faint click of her heels against the marble floor as she walks away from my bedroom door.

Life could not get any worse. I swear as I begrudgingly get out of my warm bed, clearly nursing a hangover from last night's activities.

My head feels like like a grand piano has been dropped on it but the hangover is worth it as I recall the awesome beach party I attended at Amber's last night.

My vigorous make out session with Shane Hamilton before I stripped down to my black lace underwear and dove steadfast into the pool as I laughed along with my friends.

I don't want to leave my old life behind but it seems like my mother has made it her life's mission to make my life miserable.

"Thanks a lot mom." I scream at my closed bedroom door.

I walk to my huge walk in closet and pull out a pair of grey sweats pants and a large white t shirt. I slip them on and put my braided hair in a ponytail.

I walk to the door and stop by my full body mirror and carefully examine the girl who stares back at me.

She is beautiful with her dark chocolate skin and hazel brown eyes.

I quietly open my door and tiptoe to the grand staircase hoping to quickly make myself a cup of coffee before my mom sees me.

I make my way down the stairs and walk into the kitchen not noticing the figure in a beige sweater standing by the door way.

"So, I see you're finally up. I hope you have everything packed up?" My mom's shrill voice echoes around our now bare walls considering most of the things that occupied our house are now packed up in boxes most likely being arranged at our new house.

"Good morning to you too, mom." I mutter as I pour myself a cup of coffee.

"Sienna, tell me you have everything ready because we are leaving tomorrow and I will not hesitate to take you with me and leave the rest of your stuff here."

"Don't worry, I will make sure to ask Kayla and Sophie to come over and help me with that." I smile as I turn to look at my mother.

She is extremely beautiful and even though she is thirty five, she does not look a day over twenty. We are often mistaken to be sisters.

"Good. We will be staying at a hotel today night as our place is setup so make sure you have everything ready."

"I will be off now but the movers will be here at five in the afternoon, so either you finish up packing by that time or say bye bye to your stuff." She chuckles evily and then walks out of the kitchen.

I sigh and make my way up the stairs to my bedroom where I fall onto the bed and reach for my emergency bottle of tylenol. You always have to have some lying around if you party as hard as I do.

I pick up my phone and dial my best friend Sophie's number as I groan in pain from skull splitting headache.

"Hey." She says immediately she picks up.
