The Tower

The alarm had gone off, day by day, at the same time in the morning. Khloe turns to her side and slides the dismiss button and turns back over and went back to sleep. But this time it was a lot different, the alarm was one of a message alert and was not going off.

Khloe slowly sat up in the bed and grabbed her phone to look at her home screen. Opening it up, her screen lit up in the dark room, illuminating her face "Breaking new's- Avengers tower has now made history by Tony stark himself. He has been making the place more secure, looking for the person who caused such a disturbance on the bridge five months back"

Khloes eyes blinked for a moment as she read this. There wasn't an article to it at all- just that. She looked confused and rubs her eyes before she reread it 'five months- I've been away for five months?' She gulps some as she thinks. This couldn't be good, she was supposed to be off for only a few weeks or month and go back. But she did not want that one bit any more, she wanted to take her life back. So it's what she was going to do

She stands up from her spot in bed quickly before standing still for a moment. She held her head getting a bit dizzy. She shakes it off after a moment. When did she last eat? How long had she been out fully? She goes to her bag and rummaged through it as she takes out a few pieces of clothing she had stolen

Stripping down from her underwear and bra that she slept in she walks into the bathroom and runs the shower, making sure it's where she wanted it. Stepping in she let's out a soft moan of relaxation, the hot water hitting her back at first, relaxing her muscles. Turning around she closed her eyes, the water falling onto her face and running down her chest and breasts before hitting her smooth and soft skin. But even to the scared bits of her body all the way down to her feet

Taking as long as she pleased in there, almost being an hour she steps out. Grabbing her towel she wrapped it around her small figure and walked out to her clothing. Getting dry and dressed she looked in the mirror

Looking she stood there in black jeans, her boots, a black tank top and a red jacket she nods in approval. Most people wore black but as long as she didn't look like she was going to be robbing a place she was fine, which she did not look like she would

She smiles and does not bother to touch her hair, letting her fresh washed hair dry out. She grabbed a bag with small essentials for the day and grabs the key card and walks out of the room. Shutting the door behind her she looks around and puts a regular black mask that could be thrown away on and some sun glasses

Entering the elevator she noted the amount of people who also got in. 'So this is what it's like to be somewhat normal?' She thought to herself and smiles. It felt nice and made her feel a bit better about herself. Normally she would have gotten stared at where ever she went because of how she dressed, so this was a nice change of pace for her

Getting down to the lobby she found the same car she took still outside and relaxes. She coughs to make it seem like she was sick or something. She knew some people knew others wore masks for health benefits so thats all the looks she got. She walks out to the jeep and slides I the driver's side and buckles up and starts the car

She calmed down enough to take her mask and sunglasses off, putting them in the cup holder. Getting backed out she soon takes off towards the avengers tower

After a short ride she pulls into a parking spot and puts her mask on and hesitates, her hands gripping the steering wheel. She takes a few deep breathes as she sits there thinking, before taking the final plunge and opening the door and getting out

As she got out, she made her way to the foyer of the tower and looks up for a moment. Taking a moment to see if she was at the correct spot she nods and slips in silently. She had a beautiful skill to sneak in and never set off any alarms. Seeing nobody around on this floor she makes her way to the elevator and goes up

Clearly not knowing where to go she pressed up on a random floor and leans on the wall as she waits, closing her eyes as she did. After a moment the ding to the elevator goes off and she opens her eyes and steps off

Looking around she shrugs and starts walking around. Seeing a room that said Tony's, she presumed that she was in the right place. Going to knock on the door she stops hearing a few voices in the distance. Tilring her head she thinks before following it. She walks up a staircase and lands on the platform and sees everyone stop and look to her

Tony looks over and looks her up and down "Who are you? And why are you here?" Khloe gulps and moved closer as she shows she wasn't armed "Names Khloe Vanderwood...and I'm the person you are looking for from the incident. But I had a reason for it all"

Everyone looked at each other confused and Steve and Tony wave everyone off and bring her over to sit down "Ok, if your them, tell us what happened that day and who you are" Khloe nods and looks down

"I was an assassin...well the next winter soilder. Hydra took me when I was three, took me for my natural born abilities. When I was around ten they started to fully experiment with me. They gave me the super soilder serum, and was to give me an arm like the winter soilder. But thankfully they don not have access to vibranium so they were unable to use it" Steve and Tony sit down and motion her to continue as she looked up to them

Khloe nods and takes a deep breathe "I was sent around six months to either retrive the winter soilder or kill him. Well the day I was only supposed to get him I did not think I would have found him that quick. But when we fought- he took my mask off and snapped me out of the worse state I do not want anyone in. Nobody has ever been able to do what he did. And I know hydra will know that lied. So here are the files on him and myself" She takes her bag and opens it gently. Taking out a few files and slides them over and they look through it and nods

"I need to find him....please...I want to change. I don't want to be a puppet on a strings" She tears up and they nod and get her to calm down. Tony writes down a few things before Steve takes over "There you go...normally he is at the bar...after- come speak with us about joining alright? Cause this is something we will need you for, for sure after kid. Just be gentle on my best friend ok?" Tony holds a hand over his heart with a fake and sarcastic gasp "Ouch rogers- that one hurt" of course Tony knew better as well

Steve rolls his eyes at Tony's remarkable comment. But he nods to khloe as she goes to stand up "Thank you both...ill definitely be back to speak with you both!" They nod and she runs out to go and find him. As she gets into the car she turns it on and looks at the note and smiles as she sees the bar and such. As she puts it into the GPS she gets out and drives on

This was her time to change she was just hoping she could find him and him let her help him. Would he? She was hoping he would and let her in. As she pulls up to the place Steve had given her the information to and didn't see him. She sighed and make her way to his residence to see if he was there by chance. But seeing nothing she made the decision to drive around for a while
