Distance Lies

Chapter 3

I was walking around London. I spot by a cafe and sits down. I see Theo and a couple of his friends. How is it I was able to avoid this fool for upwards of a week since came to London now here he is with his friends. I was so damn close on making it home free. I had what four days left on this trip. I try to leave but his friend Will sees me and waves to me

"Hey" I say and he walks over to me

"You look good" I smile

"Thanks you too"

"Theo man when were you going to tell us your bird was back in town?" he says my jaw drops Theo spins around in his chair and looks at me I push my hair out of my face then waves

"I had no idea Mary was even in town and she isn't my bird anymore Will I've told you this" he says and pushes him out of the way

"Hi" I smile backs up some

"Uh hi" I say and he looks at me after he notices that I took a step back a look of hurt crosses his face

"When did you get here?" he asks as he rebounds from what I just did

"Um upwards to a week. I like leave in four days" I say and he jaw drops

"Wait you have been here for a week and you didn't think to tell me?" I look at him

"No" I say and he looks at me

"You could have stayed with me instead of wasting money at a hotel" I look at him

"Theo we aren't together" I say and he looks at me

"So" I roll my eyes

"Wouldn't it be a little weird" I say and he shakes his head

"No" he says and I go quiet then Will steps in

"Mate we are going to leave are you coming?" he turns to them and I take another step back. Actually I wanted to make a run for it but it would look weird and I really didn't want any more attention

"No mate I'm going to go see if Mary wants to get some food or something" every muscle in my body freezes

"Oh okay mate. It was nice to see you Mary" I snap out of my daze then waves at him and the other boys

"So Mary" I look at Theo and we just look at each other

"Um sure" I say then that is when my brain screams for me to say no.

"Great where do you want to go?" I go quiet this time

"Um it's up to you" I say and if I could I would face palm myself right about now

"Great" he says and holds out his arm. I look at him the slowly loops my arm with his. We walk out of the café and start walking down the street.

"Where are you staying?" I look at him

"Um near the London tower. At a double tree hotel." he looks at me

"What have you been doing for a car?" he says and I look at him

"Taxi" I say and he rolls his eyes

"But I walk most of the time." I say and he just looks at me

"Well we will get a bite to eat then go back to my place and I will drive you back to the hotel" I shrug

"If that is what you want to do" I say and he nods

"That is what I want to do" I nod slowly as he opens the door for me. I walk inside and he follows me. We get to a booth and I slip in one side and he sits down across from me
