Raph's POV
I slowly remove the Fedora and mask from my face. I'm too scared to even look up at them but I have to, "{y/n}, I know I look different and weird. And I understand if you find me scary. I won't bother you anymore if that's what you want..." I feel tears forming in my eyes. This has never happened before. Why do I feel this way?
"Raph..." They say as they come closer. "You're different, but you aren't weird or scary. I know some other humans would run away, but how could I ever run away from you? Especially after you were so kind and sweet? That would just be selfish of me." My eyes widen at their words.
"You mean you still wanna be friends?" I managed to choke out those words. "Of course. Here's my number." They take out a marker and write it on my hand. "Make sure you text me." They say. "I will. Thank you, {y/n}." I wave and run off onto the buildings to get home.

Your POV
I can't lie that I was taken aback by Raph's appearance. Even thought I knew he was a mutant, I wasn't expecting him to look that way.. But that doesn't change the fact that he's a good friend. It would've been wrong to decline his charm. Hopefully he texts me and we get to see each other again.
I won't tell him I literally saw his giant mutant hands lol
