Chapter 5: Potter?

*Charlotte's PoV*
Scorpius walks towards the boys dormitories. I walk to the girls. "Alright there?" A voice asked. I turn and see a dark haired boy with short curls.

Scorpius had already walked into his dorm but I stayed to talk with this boy. I walk towards him and sat myself down before him. "Hi, I'm Charlotte."

He smiled. "I'm James." No one else was in the common room. It was incredibly quiet. We both stayed silent for a while. It was pretty awkward to be honest.

"Longbottom?" I smiled and nodded brightly at James. "James? As in James Potter?" He also smiled and nodded. "You're cool. Lets be friends." I fiddled with my thumbs.

I look at him. "But you don't like me. No one does" I said looking down at my feet. "Rubbish! Of course I like you!" He's so rude! Though he is quite friendly. But annoying. I like him.

"Do have a brother or sister?" I asked curiously. "Brother and sister. Lily and Albus. I call them Al and Lils. You?" He said politely. "I've a sister. Ella" I said standing up. Why did I do that?

*James' PoV*
This Charlotte girl is really nice. She seems intelligent and funny. "Where're you going?" I asked, blushing slightly. She probably didn't see anyways.

"Bed" she answered. I stood up, about to head towards the boys dorms. "Oh, it's nice meeting you." She stopped and turned around to me.

She walks to where I was standing. "Its been nice meeting you too. I like you Potter" Charlotte said. "What?" She looked confused. "You're cool." I wanted to beat myself up.

"Oh, well, goodnight Charlotte" I said opening the door. She walks back to the girls dorms and mouthed the words "Goodnight."
