April POV
After walking out of class I'm leaning against a locker when I see Kira I go to wave and Liam turns to see who I'm looking at and then she falls flat on her face.
"Oh Kira!" I run over and help her up as she nervously chuckles I give her a 'you ok' look and she nods "actually I came to talk to you lydias having a party and wanted you to invite you and your plus one" she says looking at Liam now I automatically find this suspicious but Liam smiles at me and he seems so excited to go to a party so I caved "ok sounds fun what time?" Liam practically jumps up and down and Kira smiles but I can feel she's nervous must be about Scott I make a mental note to ask her about it "it's at 8 and I'll need Liams address to pick him up after I get you".
That raised a red flag for some reason "well Liam knows where I live I rode the bus the other morning so just pick us both up there" she nodded and walked away Liam looked at me "no I don't no you didn't" I sigh "I know that and you know that hell she probably even knows that but I've got a weird feeling and I always trust my gut" Liam makes a oh face and agreed nodding his head we went our separate ways to our last class of the day.
Of course there's a lacrosse meeting after school and even if I wasn't my dads assistant he's my ride in the afternoons so I'd still have to wait. "Does anyone know any other players for the lacrosse team"
I scoff at my dad knowing I'm the only person that can play better then stiles that didn't try out. Stiles smirks at me and raises his hand then Kira then Scott "stilinski who could you possibly know who can play better then you" a few people chuckled and stiles smirk only grew "April" my dad stopped laughing at his joke and looked stiles dead in the eye.
"no" that is what he says every time "Kira please tell me you have a sister who can play" you can tell my dad is stressed about having good players "no I don't but I happen to know your daughter is pretty good on the field" he slams his clipboard on the table "McCall if you are about to say my daughter I will throw this at you"
Scott put his hand down "get out all of you" I turn to ask if I'm riding with him "I've got a lot of paperwork to fill out for the new lacrosse players you'll have to ride with stiles" I nod and run to catch up with him. The whole car ride I could tell he was contemplating telling me something.

I get a text from Liam asking what time he should come over I told him as early as he'd like Bc my dad fell asleep like an hour ago right after I asked if I could go to lydias party.
I put the food I made dad in the microwave and finished up my plate I head back upstairs to my room and pull out my black slightly heeled boots and my dark blue jeans, and top it off with a my favorite rings and my black mcr shirt. My gut told me to grab a hoodie so I did and put it right at the front door.
Just as I was about to walk away from the door my phone started ringing "hello" I hadn't looked at the caller Id -hey so I might be lost- Liam sounded ashamed and I then heard his dad -I told you to call her back there- I chuckle and open my door "I'm right here" I look at the car parked in front of my house with the lights on the inside on and wave. Liam sheepishly smiles and his dad waves back before pulling into the driveway.
They both get out and his dad walks up to the door with him "it's nice seeing you again ms. April" he hesitated before saying April forgetting he didn't know my last name "my last name is Finstock but please just call me April" he seemed surprised and then shook his head "ok then you two have fun" he then walked back to the car and me and Liam waved.
I walked in and liam follows closing the door "lock it please" my dads asleep and I dont like leaving it unlocked he nods and locks it and I show him up to my room. We still have an hour and a half before Kira is supposed to be here so I hand him a controller "Zombies?" He smiles wide "hell yea" I chuckle and sit in my beanbag chair.

We had just won another round when a horn honked outside. Me and Liam headed downstairs and I grabbed my hoodie before locking the door behind me. "Hey guys" Kira was obviously nervous and this time it definitely wasn't about Scott.
Liam seemed like he had another headache which makes no Sense I mea- oh shit it's a full moon tonight. I'm assuming Liam noticed my panic bc he looked at me with a concerned look and then he winced before he asked Kira to turn the music down she then turned the music up Liam obviously doesn't appreciate that but takes the opportunity to ask what's wrong
"I've got a bad feeling about this" he nods at me understandingly. his phone goes off "well mason just texted me I'll invite him tell him to bring whoever ok" I nod knowing it's not ok but I can't seem to shake this feeling that it isn't a party, now if Scott and the pack are the reason it's not a party it's not as bad but it might be an outside person looking for blood.
We got to lydias and as Kira opens the door she turns to us "I'm sorry" I was about to ask for what when I saw them all standing there Liam quickly realized as well "what the hell" Liam went to turn around and Kira stopped him "April remind me to never not trust your gut" he glared at the boys and I chuckle "cmon April you had to have noticed it's a full moon" I sigh and nod "Liam just hear them out please" I couldn't even look him in the eye "you know what their talking about" I nod "ok fine then let's say I believe you what proof do you have" malias eyes changed before Scott spoke with a smirk this was his plan, going just how he wanted. "well first let's run down the list of supernatural creatures"

Liam had fallen to the floor in pain while shifting so I got down on the floor with him putting a comforting hand on his shoulder when he looked at me I could tell he was scared. I helped Scott and Kira get Liam to the boat house.
Liam freaked out and Kira hit him over the head I gave her a really look and she smiled sheepishly "sorry I panicked" I chuckle lightly "he won't feel it when he wakes up besides now we know you can play baseball too" the three of us chuckled and then we chained Liam to the post with heavy chains.
Kira and Scott needed some alone time so I went on a walk then I saw this husky puppy that looked like it was hurt so I started following it. "Damnit I lost it I'll have to have Scott come help me I'll call hi-"
I went to grab my phone till I heard what sounded like something running at me I thought it was the mama husky so I flinched when it jumped on me but as soon as I saw yellow eyes staring down at me a smirk spread across my face and I tilted my head to the right a little "oh well i guess the chains didn't work"
A look of confusion spread across Liams features and his almost glowing blue eyes came back "I almost ripped your throat out why are you smiling" I put my hand on his cheek "because I don't think you would My instincts didn't kick in and my gut told me you wouldn't" we both sit crisscross across from each other and he seems upset "but what if I did" he wouldn't look me in the eye so I grabbed his chin so his vibrant lye eyes were looking into mine
"you didn't so we'll never know" he smiled at that when I heard footsteps I didn't even have to turn around to know who it was and then a second set could be heard and before I turned around I heard "even if the beta won't hurt you there's plenty of other animals that will" I went to grab my knife but it was gone I quickly turned around to see Chris Argent himself picking it up off the forest floor
"oh thank god" I breathe as I stand to go get the knife "my parents can't see me like this not again" I turn still standing next to Chris and look at Liam with a sad expression "what do you mean again" Scott asked and Liam explained how he destroyed his teachers car I had already heard he was kicked out bc of his anger issues but he hadn't gone this into detail with me.
"they can't see me like like" I wanted to comfort him but this is Scott's moment to earn his trust. I looked over at Chris and he put his arm on my shoulders giving them a comforting squeeze, then Scott spoke "like a monster?" Liam nodded ever so slightly and Scott stood up "your not a monster... your a werewolf" me and Chris give Scott a proud smile and I walk over to stand next to Scott as he puts his hand out for Liam to grab to get up
"and your not alone" I smile looking at Liam.
