Birds singing
TV blurring.
Outside world has stopped.
Girl in shower.
Younger frankly searching .
For green tops.
And fake shamrock tattoos.
Smell of fry up the stairs.
Gand da on the phone.
On st Patricks morn.
No place like home.
Put on your green war paint.
Evening a bit cool
But fair.
Spring is in the air.
Gone to chipper for soakage.
Tomorrow back paying that mortgage.
