Chapter 14: The Merchant

 
        In the following month after March, the 5 major guilds of the United Kingdom were disappointed as the dungeon master didn't appear to spawn any of his strange dungeons on the United Kingdom. For them, such dungeons are special. It helped low-rank hunters to grow more even it was useless for high-rank hunters. And for normal people, in those types of dungeons, the potential of their awakening is much higher and better. The benefits of those dungeons are higher than their demerits. If there ever comes a day for dungeon break on those E-ranked dungeons, people could easily subdue the outbreak of the monsters. It was disappointing for the 5 S rank hunters. But for the chairman, he was more important matters on his mind. Various questions were on his mind since he have learned of the dungeon master.

Is it this being that was responsible for the appearance of dungeons and gates? Why does the dungeon of the dungeon master different from others? What is it's the reason? Is it for satisfaction and amusement? Did the being do this for other reasons?

After the appearance of the special dungeons in their country, Myron Hughes decided to hire someone and investigate the countries. He didn't tell the specific circumstances to the investigator but just that she would report if she and her agency found something unusual.

Myron Hughes hasn't enough reason to trust an international for the hire spy agency. If you paid this agency for enough money, you could order them to kill someone. Even it was someone who was super high at this current society with enough price. But this agency couldn't be trusted to have the capabilities to kill S rank hunters. When it comes to S rank hunters, the agency would always fail on their assassinations. This agency couldn't also be completely trusted that the information they brought back is entirely reliable. Despite that, someone would still be willing to hire this agency, like him. This agency can't be trusted that they have the entire information but most of the things that they have gathered are entirely true. It was an organization with the sole purpose of spying and information gathering and assassinations if you paid them enough. Most of the members of this infamous group are composed of people who specialize in stealth.

Hopefully, the money that he paid on them would be worth it.

In May, the chairman learned unexpected news coming from the E+ dungeon of the dungeon master that appeared in Scotland.

Most of the hunters that entered the dungeon have reported their encounter with an unusual being. In the safe point on the fifth floor on the dungeon for dummies, there was a being that appeared through a fixed period. It was a being that call itself a merchant. According to the witnesses, it can change its appearance based on the perception of the person or people looking at the strange being.

Myron Hughes has taken an action after hearing the rumors. He forbid any of the 5 guild S rank guild masters from entering the said dungeon before he called the five of them to a meeting.

Once they are called, the chairman hoped for a meeting that wouldn't blow out into childish bickering between the 5 guild masters. It always happens when they always come together. Yet he knows that it was such an impossible task. Since meeting each other, there wasn't a day that any insults would leave on their mouths directed at each other.

On the day of the meeting, the 5 S rank hunters sat far away from each other. The Chairman of the United Kingdom hunter's association was watching them like a hawk. They are all gathered in the meeting room in the base of the UK Hunter's Association Base which was the Cardiff Castle on Wales. Other than them, Zachary Thompson and Ava Marie Pritchard were assisting their Superior Klaus on his presentation of the information and knowledge that they have gathered from the hunters regarding the Merchant. At the end of the presentation, one of the people from the UK hunter association asked while raising his hand.
