Chapter Two

500 Years Later...

The stone crumbled off my body, along with other dragons. I searched through all of the dragons to find Sisu's siblings, all being freed from their stone prison. "Amba! Pranee! Jagan! You're all okay!" I exclaimed, bounding off to nuzzle all of them.

Just as I finished rubbing heads with Amba, a particular green dragon emerged from behind them. "[Y/N]!" Pengu exclaimed.

"Pengu!" I squealed in excitement as we ran towards each other to give a big hug, and the others also joined in. I opened my eyes in realization that someone was missing.

"Wait! The Druun has been defeated! Which means-" Pranee began.

"-Sisu!" Both Pengu and I exclaimed at once. Feeling Sisu's aura near the ocean, we led the other dragons towards the blue dragon's whereabouts. Every dragon was running through the sky, every step dropping water towards the ground. I could see humans staring in awe at us running through the sky.

We all spiraled around Sisu as she was brought back to life. "Guys! You're okay!" Sisu said as she jumped into our direction, and we all gave her a big group hug.

"You did it! You saved all of Kumandra, people and dragons alike!" I congratulated her as we ran through the sky together. "Thanks [Y/N]! But it wasn't just me, my friends and Raya helped save everyone!"

The blue dragon made her way down to congratulate her friends, and I turned around to see Pengu walking towards me. He was staring proudly at his little sister. "I knew she would do it, I trusted her," he said.

"Yeah, she did really well. She's done us proud," I said, looking over at Pengu. He looked back with a smile on his face.

"So, our last conversation was so rudely interrupted. I believe you were trying to tell me something?" Pengu asked, a slight smirk on his face.

I could feel my furry cheeks turning red upon remembering what last happened before the Druun attacked us. 

"About that..." I began, when suddenly Pengu wrapped his long neck around mine in a deep hug and the two of us joined snouts and kissed each other gently. 

Then, we put our heads together and I whispered, "I love you, Pengu."

"I love you too, [Y/N]."
