Along the Shore

So okay. I write poems on a paper first but this poem, I am writing it directly here. Omg. Okay.

Waves roar like a lion
As if they would bite
You stare from the pavilion
Acting like it is not midnight

Inhale and exhale
Every breath you take
It feels like you are on sale
Trying so hard to think that this moment is fake

Now, walking along the shore
Feet dipping on the sand
Foot marks along, not so sure
Until you felt a hand

Turned and saw your love
He smiled because he know
Knows that all you do is shove
But this time, you're pride is low

"Don't give up on us," he said
You said, "Will not unless love fades."
Smiled at one another
You feel your organs brawl

Holding hands, you explore
Sit along the shore
Air filled with silence
Contented is your being

"Its 6:00 A.M!" someone shouted
You jolt awake
Stinging eyes, you said
"It was all just a dream."
