Chapter 4. Sensations.

It was finally over... 4 whole days in captivity and he was finally freed. Joey was overwhelmed with emotions, so much so that he started to cry in front of Seto.

Seto looked down at Joey, caressing his cheek and smiled softly towards him.

"Of corse I found you. By now you should know that theres nothing I can't do."

Seto answered and then give the order to his men to capture the kidnappers.

"Come. I'll take you to the hospital..."

Seto took off his jacket and wrapped it around Joey's shoulders, then had his arm wrapped around him and helped him walk towards his car.
While they walked towards Seto's car, Joey leaned on him and felt all the anxiety and stress leave his body. The both of them sat down inside the car side by side.

"Take us to the closest hospital."

Seto ordered Isono which he answered with a nod. Joey gazed up at Seto, smiling a little before he felt this overwhelming feeling of wanting to close his eyes. His head was starting to feel heavy too, so he leaned his body against Seto, closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh.

"I've been drugged so many times and slept so much, but even then, it doesn't feel like it at all right now.."

"If you want to sleep, you can sleep. I'll look after you.."

Seto placed his hand on Joey's head and stroked his hair gently, which Joey reacted by snuggling up closer to Seto Kaiba, and just a few minutes after, he fell asleep. Once he woke up, the first thing he saw was the white roof over him, then he could hear the beeping from the heart monitor. He quickly realized he was in the hospital and started to look around.

"U-ugh.... my head..."

Joey groaned and tried lifting his hand up to rub his eyes, but once he tried, he felt something heavy on it. He looked down to see that he had a hand on top of his own. He looked at who that hand belonged too and saw Seto Kaiba sitting on a chair next to the bed. Seto had fallen asleep holding Joey's hand.

"H-hey..."

Joey said softly and nudged on Kaiba's hand gently. Joey's heart monitor started to beep faster from the situation he was in. He had never held someone's hand like that. It was embarrassing, but it felt... good too. He was confused. He wasn't the brightest when it came to brains, so he couldn't figure out what was happening, but he knew one thing, and that was that his heart felt warm and cozy whenever he was close to Seto like this, and it freaked him out at the same time as he was intrigued.

"Are you ok?"

Seto asked and squeezed Joey's hand tenderly. He instantly reacted to Joey's heart monitor going faster, and was wide awake in a second of lifting his head up.

"U-uh Yeah.. im good! All good! Hehe..."

He laughed nervously and pulled his hand away from Kaiba's, which was painful since he didn't realize his arm was broken.

"Ow..."

"Careful. You just got out of the operation table. Your doctor said that you aren't allowed to do any heavy lifting or much movement for the first month."

Seto informed him with a sigh as he pulled his hand back from Joey's bed.

"What? A month? But... how am I supposed to work? My work goes out on carrying things back and forth, but oh... maybe I don't even have a workplace left eh? I have after all been absent for a few days, heh..."
