Lisa tried to calm her beating heart as soon as darkness enveloped them. Truth to be told, she couldn't tell if the rapid beating was caused by the spooky, dark atmosphere or the fact that Chaeyoung was holding her hand.

She knows holding hand was hardly a special thing. Friends do it all the time. They do it all the time. But it was mostly just linking their arms together while they walked. Something about holding hands with Chaeyoung feels special for Lisa. Or maybe it was just because Lisa is in love with her.

She thought it was a short-lived crush but it grew more and more to the point Lisa wants to see Chaeyoung's smile first thing in the morning.

Much to Jisoo's delight, there were three paths you could take in the haunted house. Without a second thought, Jisoo wished them good luck again and bravely marched off on her own.
Infact, Lisa could have sworn the older girl was even skipping with joy.

"Which path do you want to take, Lisa?" Chaeyoung's soft voice cut through her thoughts.
"Huh? Oh,umm, whichever you want."

Chaeyoung contemplated for a few seconds before she led Lisa to the third path.

They pushed the shredded curtain out of the way and started walking through the hallway. It was dark and the only source of light was from the green goo splattered all over the walls.

"We got this." Chaeyoung mumbled quietly.
Lisa gulped and nodded even though she was getting goosebumps from the sounds of a really creepy laughter playing over hidden speakers.

Chaeyoung flinched and yelped next to her, prompting Lisa to flinch too.
"What is it?"
"Something just grabbed my ankle."

Lisa would have suggested to just sprint toward the exit if it weren't for the bet with Kim Jisoo.

She grimaced when the creepy laughing got louder. A few seconds later, she let out a scream when she felt a hand grabbed her ankle.

She looked down immediately but the it was so dark that she couldn't see anything.

"It's fine, it's fine,"Lisa muttered, trying to convince herself,"we got-" she screamed when something dropped and dangled in front of her face.

"Aww, it a tiny UFO. It's cute."Chaeyoung mused as she reached out and spun the little glowing UFO around.

"Yeah, would have been nice if it didn't scared the crap out of me."
Lisa grumbled and shot daggers at the UFO that started to move up again.

They shuffled forward and the next thing Lisa knew there was a loud shriek and she felt Chaeyoung crashed into her and hugged her tightly.

Lisa stumbled a bit but managed to hug her back. She titled her head to see what spooked the blonde and saw a green glowing alien sticking out before it retreated and stayed still in front of the wall. Soon, the green lighting dimmed and Lisa couldn't even see the robot alien anymore.

"I swear that thing came out of like nowhere!" Chaeyoung exclaimed after she let go of Lisa. "It was like a teleportation or something!"

"This haunted house is not playing around." Lisa said and they advanced forward.

Of course, they were met with more jump scares. And Chaeyoung would hug Lisa whenever a jump scare was thrown at her.

So, Lisa thought maybe agreeing to go into the haunted house wasn't the worst idea tonight.

Then, she realized she thought too soon.

Jisoo, on the other hand,was having a good time. She took her time in the hallway where the floor was littered with skulls and bones.  Coffins were lined up against the wall and a mummy or two would burst out to scare her. Well, tried to.
