Izuku wandered the moonlit streets, careful to avoid the attention of late night and underground heroes and police doing the rounds. It was difficult due to his new appearance, but people, if they saw him, were more likely to think of him as just a rundown machine. And they never got close enough to notice the smell... but there were still nuances to the suit, and the spirits he now traveled with. Izuku, however, was ingenious when it came to identifying and working with powers, even mechanical ones. He soon figured out how to communicate without the voice box. The most knowledgeable soul, the vengeful one named Cassidy, had told him their story, with each of them providing their own side to the story. And it was horrific. There was even a soul of a dog, from long ago, which belonged to Suzie. However, Izuku had bigger priorities on his mind, or rather, in his animatronic's heads up display. Asking Cassidy, he said, "I see a power bar... is there a way to fill it? There's only 1/3rd left..."
She, completely working with him at this point due to them both being victims, responded truthfully, in a matter of fact voice. Her voice was also a little bit sulking, since she missed having her own body at this point. "Soul Remnant... or at least that's what Afton called it. It's what allows us to control the suit... even if there is no charge in the battery. We know because we used to have our own... before... before Afton tore them apart..." Her tone at the end indicated that what happened after was cathartic for them, even after everything. She can be scary when she wants to be . And for good reason. She's like a big sister to all of them...
Nervous, he tried to push the point. "Afton... I'll have to ask later... How do I get that... remnant?"
Fritz, a boy who used to possess a pirate themed animatronic, still carried a bit of the accent after being forced to speak like one for years. "Ya can find lots of it at graveyards... but the best way to get lots quickly is to pirate it from a poor landlubber."
"What do you mean, take it?"
All of them responded at once, eerily on the same note. "Kill them..."
Horrified, he protested immediately. "I... I don't want to be a killer!"
Suzie was completely understanding, and spoke quietly and sadly. "You will have too... graveyards don't give much... we've tried the peaceful way..."
The greenette nearly despaired... but then held true to his beliefs. He would never become a monster... perhaps a vigilante is a better option. "I... I see... I'll kill a villain then..."Gabriel, a boy with a powerful, commanding voice, a remnant from his time controlling the leader animatronic, a bear named Freddy. "There is one right there..."
A woman, clearly a secretary on her way home from work, was being cornered by a man, threatening her with a knife. What he wanted was not obvious, but his intent was still malicious as he approached, ever closer. She, backed against the wall and panicking, cried out, "Please, let me go!"
Izuku couldn't see his face, as the man had his back towards him. However, he didn't notice the undead cyborg slowly shuffle towards them. They were both too focused on their current situation to notice the third party. "I don't think I will, doll..." He smiled evilly and was about to use the knife when she finally noticed Izuku. His eyes glowed, but only after a few more steps did she see his ghastly appearance, her eyes widening in even more fear as she looked behind him. At this point he had to know what scared her more than him, so the villain turned, and saw a towering scrap-looking robotic rabbit glaring down at him with glowing eyes. The Spring bonnie suit, as it was referred to by Cassidy, was built to be 7 feet tall, far larger than Izuku used to be, and he took full advantage of that height difference to fully intimidate the villain. Loosening his grip on her, the girl noticed and took the opportunity to run. He turned away to try to stop her, only for metal to dig into his shoulder. It didn't break the fabric, but the grip of the mechanical hand was impossible for him to break without a strength enhancing quirk. Fear now laced his voice as he cried out, "Let me go!" And stabbed the rabbit in the neck with his knife. Izuku grabbed his other wrist with his left hand, slowly compressing the mechanics, forcing him to let go. The knife remained stuck in his neck, but it wasn't painful. He didn't feel pain. Interesting... I can't feel pain anymore... perhaps that can be taken advantage of in the future...
