Over the next week after Mei's departure, UA was placed on high alert. When Mei confirmed the Springtrap now had an accomplice, especially one who could shapeshift, security was tightened, and all students were required to have their movements planned out for the staff to keep track of, just in case. Meanwhile, the government, or more specifically, the Hero Public Safety Commission was butting into the case as well. They seemed most interested by the fact that Mei reported that a dead student had been seen alive through the use of technology. However, Nezu shut that down real quick, since having undead heroes patrol the streets would be a nightmare for them as well, since he informed them that Izuku was fueled by having to kill.

So, they let him be, for now, preferring to take on a defensive approach...

Meanwhile, Izuku made plans for revenge. At Toga's insistence, he made an ingenious strategy for each of the three main culprits Kirishima, Denki, and Bakugo. With a particular focus on the last two, he took their quirks into account, and designed his tools. The duo set up shop in an abandoned building of Toga's recommendation, which happened to be a perfect location for it to happen. Secluded, A place that has no ties to him, which can be abandoned at a moment's notice, and a perfect place to hide.

Gathering the necessary materials, he then figured out the internal mechanics, with the help of Cassidy and the lost spirits. The spiritual girl was completely onboard with him, having done the exact same punishment to her killer as well. Together, they built more Springlock suits, not for amusement, but this time as makeshift cages. They lacked an outer shell like his suit did, because it was not about the appearance, but the function. Soon enough, he was ready to enact his revenge.

But first, he needed a favor that only the living could really do. They happened to have the best girl for the job. "Toga..."

She looked at him, almost stricken with love as she replied, "Yes?"
"I want you to locate Katsuki Bakugo."

Jumping up, she was excited. Not only to find him, but eventually... eviscerate him. This was what she'd been waiting for. "Right!"

However, Izuku warned her against what she was thinking, hoping would happen. "Don't engage. He will beat you in a straight-up fight. When you find him, alert me."

She tilted her head in confusion. "How?"
"I'll be sending a phantom with you. Tell him."

Even more perplexed, she asked, "What?"

Just then, a large, mechanical-looking fox materialized. It looked burnt and dark green, with one glowing white eye. Instead of fear, however, she expressed a very different emotion. Exuberance. "Cool!"

The phantom tilted his head, then looked back at Izuku. He understood Fritz's question, and spoke aloud, "I know, she's a weird one, but keep an eye on her."

He nodded, then followed her out into the street. Let the hunt begin, Katsuki.

Katsuki Bakugo, who was unaware of the new target on his back, was with his friend group. Well, those who decided to tolerate him. Mainly due to the isolation they felt from the rest of class. Even though Mina, Kirishima, and Sero had been accepted back due to their lack of involvement, Denki and Bakugo were still hated.
