CH18 The corridor

The moment Eleonore formed the magic circle over her heart the whole castle shook like a ship in a storm. Several gates burst open as hundreds and thousands of figures came out and formed a magnificent barrier that shimmered in a million colors. Yo Anos this is Hella dope what the hell are those people there, i have to get them to teach me how to do that. 'Those , they are called zeshia they are Eleonore's children.' Issei looks at Eleonore 'all right well ill need to talk to you about something later Amos if you don't mind.' 'umm sure ill talk to you you once were don't her how's that sound to you' Issei nodded while looking extremely gloomy. Anos turned to Eleonore 'Could you hold the fort for some time ill be back soon.' Eleonore nodded cheerfully as if they weren't under attack 'Ye sure its going to be a piece of cake.' Anos nodded and began walking towards a simple door at the end of the corridor. There weren't any decorations on the door but there was a distinct oppressive feeling radiating out from it. 'Alright were here i want you guys to listen extremely carefully to what i am going to say now.' everyone rushed over and started carefully listening to Anos 'when the door opens there will be an immense pressure around you, you will need to circulate your magic around your body like a raincoat to prevent any mishap. I cant go there since I don't have a body of flesh and blood. Issei' Issei was suddenly startled awake 'Hai!!!!' Anos shook his head in disapproval 'your armor should protect you from most of the damage but you will need to go all out. AND if you slack off you know what's in store for you' Issei felt a shiver run down his spine as he recalled his worst nightmare. 'Alright since we dont have much time you will need to hurry. Ill make some preparations over here'. Everyone nodded and prepared themselves for the trial ahead. 

That moment the room was bathed in several shades of light , from Rias's red magic to Akeno's brilliant lightning aura to Asia's green soothing aura. Kiba pulled out his 'sword of the betrayer' making a large bubble while Issei donned on Draciu's majestic purple armour. Taking a deep breadth the group took their first step. Kiba's barrier instantly shrunk to half its original size while his body was covered in cold sweat. Issei placed a hand on his shoulder and gently said 'Transfer'. The power that he had been storing for so long flowed into Kiba. The barrier was suddenly reinforced with a brilliant golden sheet returning to its original size. Taking a eep breadth the others quickly entered the barrier to conserve magic. Kiba bracing himself took the second step. There were no major changes in his barrier apart from a small reduction in radius this time.

The third step went in a similar way with the barrier shrinking. Finally by the time the 4th step came there was hardly enough room for everyone to stand. Eyes glowing with determination Kiba took his 5th step. 'CRACK' a loud cracking sound echoed in the quite hallway as the barrier cracked right across its middle. The 6th step caused it to become like a spiderweb looking like the gentlest of blows could immediately shatter it. Issei spoke up "Alright kiba this is enough you stay here for now i will take care of the rest." Kiba nodded too exhausted to even say a word. He held his sword high and stabbed it into the floor. 'My sword should be able to maintain the barrier for some time, you better be careful. This place is much harder than it looks.' After saying all that Kiba promptly fainted from exhaustion. Issei nodded towards his friend and with his fellow peerage took the first step outside the safety of the barrier. Rias, Asia ,Irina and Xerovia were immediately pressed to the floor unable to even get up while Issei , Gasper ,Akeno, Sasha and Misha looked slightly pale. Looking at their Misérables condition Anos cast a barrier of purple flames over them while his body shrunk down to the size of a Childs. 'Dont worry about them , Weak as i am right now il will be able to keep them safe for the time being, you guys hurry on.' The group nodded while Gasper looked like a lightbulb lit on his head. Clapping his hands he yelled 'Balance Breaker' the room turned grey while the pressure around them vanished. 'Wonderful idea Gasper, now we wont have to worry about anything' Everyone looked overjoyed at the disappearance of the pressure and Gasper help his nose high with pride before Anos's voice echoed over dousing their hopes with cold water.'Revide wont hold for long. You will only be able too go on for 3 more steps before it gets overpowered.' 'I knew it wasn't going to be that easy' Issei grumbled while bracing himself for the future happenings there were about 7 more steps before they reached the doorway, that meant that they would still need to take 4 more torturous steps. Grumbling something about how inhumane this task was the group quickly took 3 steps. Asking gasper to wait there they took their 10th step. The pressure this time was monstrous, Akeno collapsed while Misha looked like she was struggling to even breath. Sasha on the other hand had activated her demonic eyes to the maximum averting the same state as her sister. Issei's amour looked less glossy and had become much duller but apart from that he looked alright. Just then Anos called out. 'Sasha Misha fuse into Aisha, It should help you uptil the 15th step then you can transfer your magic to Issei.' The duo nodded and fused into Aisha. If not due to the immense pressure Issei would definitely have had a full blown nose bleed the moment he laid eyes on them. However a trickle of crimson blood still flowed down his nose (Thankfully he was wearing armor otherwise Aisha would definitely have sucker punched him). They continues walking onwards, on the 15th step Issei's armor shattered and Aisha looked pale. Aisha looked at Issei with disgust. 'We dont like you but its all on you for now so you'd better not mess this up.' then bending gently she gave him a kiss on the forehead before fainting. The moment he felt the tough of their lips Issei had a nose bleed on its way. his amour regenerated itself and propelled by his giga nosebleed he rammed into the door shattering the 15 foot tall door it to pieces
