Mama Chous Dinning Room

"Morning daughter-in-law".

I chuckled and sat down at the dining table.

"Morning Mother".

"Did you study all night?", she inquired, placing a coffee down in front of me.

"Yeah. At least today I have the day off", I said.

"And Tzuyus episode gets released", I said, smiling.

"Yes. How's your mother?", she asked.

"She's happy. She met a new man".

"Oh that's good for her. Do you like him?".

"I think he truly cares about my mother. So I'm fine with him", I said taking a sip of my coffee.

"How about you? I haven't seen Mr Chou around lately", I said.

"We divorced".

"Eh?".

"Happened shortly after Tzuyu told us she was going to drop out of college and go to JYP Entertainment", she said.

"Was he not happy?".

"Yes, very mad. Disrespected you and her. I won't have him shatter her true passion".

"He never liked me", I said.

"I think he's a selfish man. Tzuyu loves you not because you two sang at the karaoke though that's a memory you two will carry. It's who you are as a person. And it's obvious as a mother to see how much she loves you".

"He just wanted Tzuyu to live his dream. And he hated that you helped her chase what she really wanted".

"Saying he only loved her when she was doing what he wanted", I said.

"Exactly what I'm saying", she said.

"Well I'm going to work. Please lock up if you leave".

"Yes, mother".

I looked down at my phone and smiled seeing it was a post of Tzuyu from her first official fang page.

"What's your motivation?", Haewon questioned.

"A nerdy penguin who has a great singing voice", I said smiling looking at the custom teddies were got before she left for Japan.

It was a deer laying its head on the penguin.

"You got that custom-made?", Shuhua asked.

"Yes, my... girlfriend and I mean a friend who is a girl has one too. Best friends", I said trying not to panic.

I mean I'm sure she came here and isn't dating anyone and is waiting for me to be able to communicate effectively with her so we can talk about us.

"Then are you the deer and she's the penguin?".

"Um yes".

I looked at Shuhua and she nudge me.

"Want to go practice?".

I nodded.

"Bye haewon".

"But it's midnight", she said.

"I like the night", I said.
