Raines Corporation Headquarters, Downtown Manhattan
You sit in the sleek modern lobby, waiting for your job interview to begin. Men and women in overpriced suits bustle by. You feel insecure looking down at your outfit, which seems mediocre to the others.
"Everyone looks so serious and professional....." You think to yourself. Do I even have a shot?
"I really need this job...."
A pair of doors slide open, and a stunning woman with an icy demeanor approaches you.
"Aurora?"
"Yes, that's me." You respond.
"I'm Nicole Anderson, Vice President of Operations at Raines Corp. I'm ready to interview you now."
"Oh! Uh, sure... absolutely...."
"You sound so surprised." Nicole trails out, looking at your outfit.
"I just wasn't expecting to be interviewed by someone at such a prestige position in the company." You praise, however Nicole continues.
"You're applying to be the executive assistant of our CEO, Adrian Raines himself, one of the most powerful and influential men in the world." Her voice lowers into a harsher tone. "We take our hiring process very seriously."
"Of course! I totally understand!" You fluster out, intimidated.
Trying to maintain a professional look, you follow Nicole into a sterile conference room.
"Now then. The Raines corporation is a global leader in technology and innovation." She begins, sitting down in a chair at the conference table causing you to follow suit. "Why exactly are you interested in being the executive assistant to our CEO?" She questions with a professional look.
"Well..." You start. "I'd love to help make the world a better place... What I admire most about the Raines Corporation is your continuous dedication to global innovation and improvement. The clean - water initiative.... the vaccine for the cerella virus.... the green energy project... You guys aren't just getting rich. You're trying to help people, to make technology that can possibly save the planet." You smile, thinking about all the things you could do to help the planet. "I couldn't think of anything better than being apart of that."
"Hmmm. A good answer." Nicole answers. "A bit cloying, perhaps, but Adrian might actually like that."
Just then, the door at the back of the room swings open, and a handsome man in a perfectly - tailored suit strolls in.
