The story "H O L Y W A R" is broken up into two parts: "Target" and "Peacekeepers".
"Peacekeepers" is centered around D'kala, Kia, and the Z.P.A. student body. It focuses less on the actual plot of "H O L Y W A R" and more on the younger members of the ZooPhobia cast, with parts of the plot sprinkled in with Zechariah, Guardian, and Defender's appearances. It also fills in some of the "gaps" you may find in "Target", so I would recommend reading both stories in order to grasp "H O L Y W A R" as a whole.
Now for a warning.
This story contains a lot of censored language due to the fact that most of the characters involved are high schoolers. It also dives deep into a variety of heavy issues, such as religion, sexuality, gender identity, self-harm, self-worth, and sexual abuse. A character also mentions struggling with drug addiction.
Now another warning.
Since I was pulling from Biblical lore to fuel this story (along with various other sources), some feelings may be hurt, toes stepped on, and feathers ruffled concerning the clashes between religion and contrasting ideals. If you are uncomfortable with the content, feel free to skip some parts—especially "Division: Pt. II" in "Epilogue II". Otherwise, keep reading and leave your complaints/arguments in the comments.
In addition to this, some readers whose religious views align with those of D'kala and Guardian may be offended by their portrayal, as both are often painted in an antagonistic light. As was mentioned before, if this is indeed the case, you can either skip the parts you don't feel comfortable reading or complain in the comments and move on to the next part.
In closing, allow me to say this: if you want don't want to deal with the sting of some of the ideas, concepts, and/or beliefs portrayed in this story, then you can just read "T A R G E T" and move on to the story that comes after that. However, if you want to read about the rest of the fan-favourite ZooPhobia characters (like the Big 5, Addison, Damian, Sahara, MacKenzie, etc.), then pull up your big boy/girl/etc. pants and read on at your own risk.
This is "H O L Y W A R : P E A C E K E E P E R S".
