Fredca and her team continued to travel to the lake. They had finally left the mountains and back onto more grassy ground, but the journey was not over yet.
"My paws are in pain," Rainwhisker said.
"How much farther, Fredca," asked Squirrelflight.
"We're close, I'm sure of it," Fredca said.
"How do you know," Leafpool asked. "We've been walking without any rest and we still haven't found a lake."
"I don't know," Fredca said. "But we can't stop, we have to get to this lake before Shadow Fredca attacks." She suddenly spotted something in the distance. A large lake. Fredca stopped dead in her tracks. The group saw what she saw and stopped too. "This is it." The group yowled with joy and ran towards the lake. All the tiredness gone and replaced with excitement.
"We did it," Whitewing shouted. "We're finally here!"
"Look at the size of this lake," Rainwhisker said. "It's huge." Fredca looked over the area.
"We're really here," she said.
"So know what," Squirrelflight asked.
"Well, the prophecy says that I will revive a gift when the stars reflect on the water," Fredca explained. "The sun is still up so for now, we sit and wait until nightfall."
"If we're going to wait, then we'll need to eat too," Squirrelflight said. "I'll take Rainwhisker and Whitewing out hunting. You can come too."
"Thanks," Fredca replied. "I'm going to stay here and wait."
"I'll stay here with you," Leafpool said.
Squirrelflight signaled Rainwhisker and Whitewing to follow her.
