N POV
I woke up in both an apartment and a bed I didn't recognize.
What was worse I wasn't alone.
I sleepily looked at the back of my naked neighbor and cursed under my breath.
I did it again.
I slowly sat up in the bed careful not to make too much noise. The last thing I wanted to do was wake her up. I lifted up the sheet and held my breath when she stirred a little bit. It was only then that I realized i was completely naked too.
Fuck. Where was my clothes?
It was from there I began a game of eye spy. Naked addition. With each article of clothing a memory of last night came with it.
I told myself I'd stop drinking. I became a different person when I did. Reckless, emotional, lustful.
But, it was a certain someone who always sent me into alcohols comforting arms. It numbed my pain. It was nice not feeling so lonely.
I chuckled at my hypocrisy, I spent the night giving advice about how drowning your pain out with alcohol wasn't healthy, but after that girl left I did exactly what I preached not to do.
Suddenly I heard my phone ringing. I panicked looking all over the place. I saw a light coming from under the bed and nose dived to the floor after it.
I looked at it and frowned slightly.
Great it was her.
Some how the red head laying in the bed did not wake up and I did a little happy dance as I exited her room.
" Hello" I whispered into my phone. I struggled to put my coat on holding the phone between
my cheek and shoulder." Where the hell are you!?"
Her voice was so loud I was sure the woman in the other room could hear her.
" Ouch, is that how you greet someone first thing in the morning screaming into their ear?" I said back.
" Screaming? I should gut you like a pig for the stunt you've pulled. You're late Naruto, twenty minutes might I add. I'm making excuses for you but the floor managers are starting to become impatient. Try to keep this job at least" she lectured back.
Fuck i completely forgot I worked today and I just got this job. What an amazing start to my day.
" Ah shit, I forgot Sak I'm sorry, I'm coming now."
" You better. God I can't believe you" she replied.
She hung up the phone. I hated it when she was mad at me. I had some serious making up to do.
And just to add some topping to my shit cake of a day, just as I was about to leave guess who's head popped out of her bed room door?
" Leaving so soon?" Her voice was laced with desperation.
Looks like I had a leech for dinner last night.
I froze in place before slowly turning to her. Time to turn the charm on.
" Hey good morning beautiful" I said approaching her.
She was so short she had to look up at me when I stood in front of her.
I crouched slightly and placed a small kiss on her forehead. When I looked her in the eyes I could tell she had already fallen under my spell.
" I was trying to sneak out and get us breakfast before you woke up, but you ruined the surprise."
