This is it. You've made it out of the horrible thing you're forced to go to everyday full of different personalities. Some good some bad and now it's time for work and figuring out which college you're going to go to. Now it's time to say goodbye to the people who so badly effected your life...to the people you'll most likely never see again.
It's go time and there's no going back to that little girl who was so happy to be the person kids looked up too freshman year. Now it's the person up all night worrying about that test that wasn't up to senior standards. It's the time that people are just done worrying about all together now all they want is for the days to go by faster so they can get out of there.
That's also the mistake people make when it come's to school, wishing for it to end. Once you're all grown up there's no going back and you'll do anything just to get back that young and wild feeling you used to have while you snuck out with your friend's at night.
That's why I don't judge people who do drug's and other thing's because I know we've all done something to get back that young teen feeling we once had. That's what they're doing, trying to escape reality but then they get to caught up and now they're in a AA meeting's telling strangers about their depression. They're on the street with half of their pant's torn off making weird faces at the people that walk by because they didn't put a dollar in the cup beside them.
They're making noises and doing weird moves with their bodies that make sane people run from them. I look at those people and I think about all my classmates knowing at least one of them might turn out just like that and I know how bad they felt to have become like that.
High school.
Something that nobody was ever ready for and it broke us all in some way shape or form.
I'm all grown up now and all I can do is hope that the little kid I saw in the Walmart toy section is happy.
