After Vega had cleaned up, she headed back to the Great Hall for breakfast. It was empty when she arrived, but a small noise to her left made her jump.

"Hello, Miss." A small house-elf appeared next to Vega, holding a plate full of delicious foods.

The elf was very small with big, brown eyes. It had dragonhide gloves on and many spots of what looked to be dirt, all over its face. It seemed to have the air of a mechanic. To Vega, this was a very strange look for a house-elf.

"Oh, hello. You startled me," Vega said, politely.

     "Sorry about that, Miss."

"It's alright, and you can call me Vega."

      "Yes, Ms.Vega. I am Clinky the house-elf."

"Nice to meet you, Clinky," Vega said, shaking her head and smiling at the elf.

"I have been ordered to bring you breakfast," Clinky said, holding out the plate to Vega.

"Thank you, Clinky." Vega took the plate and the elf scurried off.

Vega wished the elf would have stayed longer so that she could have questioned her, but she was also very hungry. She decided not to sit in the Great Hall, seeing as it was a bit big for one person. Vega walked around the school for a while, trying to find a nice place to sit. Finally, she came across a corridor that looked out onto the grounds. She decided to sit on the stone fence, so that she could dangle her feet near the tall grass and aromatic flowers.

It was nice, having a moment to gather her thoughts. It had been such a hectic day and Vega really needed time to adjust. The meal she had was just divine. She seldom had food this good, so warm and filling. Once she finished, Vega sat and looked out onto the beautiful sky and the ancient stone that made up Hogwarts for a moment. She had been so consumed with anger over her father, that she hadn't completely taken in where she was. I made it, Vega thought.

But just then, her line of thought was interrupted by slow footsteps not too far away. She stood and turned, bracing for something bad. Her whole life had been spent on the road, and she had been taught to be wary of the unknown. But, she soon realized it was just one of the professors. Snape came striding around the corner. He stopped just a few feet away from Vega.

"Come. The headmaster wishes to see you," He demanded in a low and lethargic voice. He quickly turned around and started walking away just as fast.

"Wait, sir." Snape turned back, "What should I do with this?" Vega held up the plate from which her food once sat.

Snape took out his wand and pointed it towards the plate, "Evanesco." The plate vanished.

He put his wand back in his robes and started to walk away again. Vega followed.

After thirty minutes of following the same, billowing cloak in complete silence, they reached a classroom near the front of the school. When she walked in, she was overwhelmed by the scent of garlic. There were some gadgets Vega knew to be dark detectors, and books on the Dark Arts and the protection of one's self from it. Vega was sure that this was the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom.

In the center of the classroom, sat Dumbledore who was looking at Vega with a grin, "Thank you, Severus. If you would like to stay, I would happily oblige." He waved his hand toward an empty desk.

"Of course, sir," Snape said, but he didn't seem all too happy about it. He went to the empty desk but instead of sitting, leaned against the wall.
