The Girl

I woke up suddenly from my bed. "Another dream about her," I said thinking about my dream. My mom called me from the kitchen, "Jeremy, come down it's the first day of school!"

My school isn't all that. I'm actually glad I'm going back to the same school as last year. My school might get interesting with new people and old people. Maybe I will meet a girl. Maybe I will meet the girl I've been looking for. This year also might be the same as last year. Boring.

"Lets go Jeremy, I don't want you to be late on your first day of school!" my mom yelled from the kitchen. I got ready for school and
grabbed my bag. When I got downstairs, I ate my breakfast. As soon as I was done, the school bus came. I waved bye to my mom and left. In the bus I found most of my friends from last year. At the end of the bus was my best friend Paul. He asked me how did I sleep but after he asked I froze, thinking back on that dream I had. My dream was about this girl I saw. She was funny, sweet and beautiful. When I asked her name, I woke from my dream. That dream has to mean something. I answer back saying, "Great Paul."

The school bus arrived at the school. Everyone ran out of the bus in excitement and me and Paul were the last ones to leave the bus. Me and Paul ran into the school looking for any new students. We saw a few new students but not many. I see no girls of my interest. "See any girls you like Jeremy?" Paul asks me. "Not really bro." I replied to him with disappointment.

As me and Paul walked into the school, one of the teachers were handing out class schedules and locker combinations to students approaching the school. We got in the school and received our locker numbers and combinations. "No way! We're locker neighbors again?!" Paul said in excitement. "So weird we've been locker neighbors since 10th grade." All of a sudden I feel a tap coming from behind. I look behind me and saw my other bro Daniel. "Jeremy, what's up bro!" "Hey Daniel, good to see you. Where's your locker?" I asked curiously. He answered "Below your locker I think." Surprisingly, it was under my locker. I thought my day would be bad, but if my bros from last year are here I think I'll be just fine.

So far school was boring till lunch started. I took out my chicken sandwich, that I bring every lunch period, and heated it up in the school microwave. After I sat in the table where Paul and Daniel where, I look at the 10th, 11th and 12th graders and frown. Looks like today wasn't the day. The principle came into the lunch room and made a few announcements. When the principle walked out the lunch room I ran to him and asked, "Are there any more new students?" He answered "No, sorry Mr. Claudio." I walk away and went back to the lunch room.

Once lunch was over I went to my locker and got my stuff for next period. As I walked slowly with my head down in disappointment, someone came to me and asked, "Excuse me, do you know where locker 69 is?" My heart stopped as soon as I saw her. "Ye...yeah," I said nervously. "It's actually right next to mine." She looked at me and smiled. I reached out my hand and said, "Hi, I'm Jeremy, what's yours?" She smiled and answered, "It's Destiny." She opened her locker and put her things inside. I tried not to stare but she looked so beautiful I couldn't resist. Her tone of voice was like hearing a soft symphony. She was the one. After Destiny put her things in her locker, she left to her classes. "Did you see that guys?" I asked with my heart beating as fast as a cheetah. Daniel gives me a discussed look and says, "Are you kidding bro? Come on she's ugly and not as nice as she seems." Paul adds, "I don't think she is the one." I grab both of them and whisper to them, "She's the one I know she is. Come on let's get to class."

At dismissal I talked to her at the lockers. Me and her had an amazing discussion. She told me all of her favorite things and I made sure I remembered them. "I need to get home." she says looking worried. "I'll see you tomorrow." She runs out of the school and catches her bus. I've never met anyone like her. She's different from many girls. I wish I knew more about her. I'll see how it goes tomorrow.
