Morning came and I woke up from my dreaming and looked at the time. It was 6:30 in the morning. Surprisingly I woke up early. I noticed the guys were still asleep. I really wanted them to be wide awake so I went to Paul's closet and found a blow horn. I used it on them and yelled, "GET UP GUYS, WE'RE GOING TO DIE!" They immediately got up and started to panic. "Guys calm down. We need to get up for school," I told them while trying to calm them down. They all got up and we all ate the left over pizza. We left Paul's house and walked to school.

We got to school on time. We look at the school for a second then out of nowhere an explosion came from the back of the school. We couldn't believe our eyes. There was fire trucks everywhere and the school was smoking. It was so unexpected that this happened. I looked at the guys and said, "Looks like we're not going to school today." Paul and Daniel were shocked and just stood there staring at the firemen running inside. Luckily everybody in the school made it out. Paul looked at all the kids that made it out then his eyes opened wide. He taps my shoulder and asks "Umm dude.....where's Destiny?" I looked around and started to get nervous. Where is she?! Where could I find her?! I ask the principle if he has seen her and he said she was last seen in the math room. I started get really scared and my heart started racing like if I was going to die. I think to myself. What if she's in there? The fire fighters come and told us no more kids where in the building. A feeling just told me to run in there and save her so that's exactly what I did. I charged in there.

Inside I saw fire everywhere. I needed to find the math room and quick. I yell, "DESTINY WHERE ARE YOU!?" I then run to the math room and saw her. She was on the floor with the desk on her leg. I run up to her and tell her, "Destiny, everything will be alright I'm here to save you." She didn't respond and her eyes were closed. I stared to get really scared. I moved the desk off her and picked her up. More and more roofs started to fall so I knew I had to run out quickly. I ran out from the emergency exit safely.

I ran to the paramedics and gave her to them. I asked them with a nervousness feeling, "What's wrong with her?" They then yelled out, "She's not breathing!" They immediately put an oxygen mask on her and start pumping her chest. I started to get emotional and tears started running down my face. I start to cry and fell sitting on the sidewalk while crying. I started to shout at Destiny, "DESTINY DON'T GIVE UP! YOU ARE ALL I HAVE! IF YOU GO......I DON'T KNOW WHAT ILL DO!" The heart monitor started making noises again. The paramedics yell out again, "We got her!" They move her in the ambulance and I came in the ambulance with her. We were then taken to the hospital.

They took her in and told me I had to wait for her in the waiting room. I check my phone and since Destiny and Caitlin are best friends I should tell her that Destiny is in the hospital. I text her and she says she's going to visit her tomorrow. I wait in the waiting room patiently and shaking a little. Thinking of her just made me feel worse. Why couldn't she be safe. Why does this have to happen? A women comes in the hospital and rushes to the front desk. "Do you know what room my daughter is in?!" the woman asked while panicking. I went up to her and asked "Are you Destiny's mom?" She answers, "Yes, do you know my daughter?" "Don't worry I'm a friend of hers. As a matter of fact I'm the reason she's still alive." She walked over to me and gave me a hug. "Thank you for saving my daughter's life. I have to go but can you please watch over my daughter?" I respond, "Of course."

The doctor comes out and ask, "Is anyone here for Destiny Nunez?" I walked up to him and said, "I'm here for her doctor. What's the news on her?" The doctor said, "Don't worry about a thing. She'll be fine. She might be asleep for a couple of days though." I nod at the doctor and go in to see her. She was sound asleep. I walked to her very quietly and sat next to her. I spoke to her saying, "When you were in the burning school, I was so scared. I thought it was over for us but I was wrong. I ran in there because I didn't want anything to happen to you. When I'm with you there's no place I'd rather be. When we talk I want to stare into those beautiful eyes. You're just so perfect in my eyes. I want us to be something more than just friends. I don't want it to be me and you I want it to be us. I really care about you and maybe you don't feel the same or maybe you do but no matter what I will always care about you. Goodnight." I leaned over and kissed her forehead. I sat back in the chair next to her and went to sleep.
