It was a beautiful Sunday morning, but to me, it was dreadful. I was home in bed all day thinking how happy she would have been with me. I understand her and she understands me. We make sense together. My phone rings and I pick up. Paul called and asked if I wanted to hang with him and Daniel. I said to Paul on the phone, "I don't want to hang today. Yesterday I was suppose to hang out with Destiny and maybe ask her to be my girlfriend but something disappointing happened. One of the kids from our school named Benjamin is dating her. I mean I don't even know what she sees in him." Paul then commands me, "I don't care come to my place now. I have the perfect cure for depression." I told him I'll go and I left to his house.

At his house it was just him and Daniel. We don't really invite people. They always end up being annoying. Well sometimes we can be annoying but at least we can put up with each other. We care about each other like bothers. We stick up for each other but sometimes I hate sticking up for Daniel. He's always causing trouble and brings me and Paul into his stupidity. One time we were at the store and he told us to steal some stuff. He persuaded us and told us that he'll pay us back. Other than that, you gotta love Daniel, he's the guy that always brings the beer.

We were all hanging in the basement of Paul's house. Daniel went in his bag and took out three beers. "Beers anyone?" Daniel ask. Me and Paul took our beers and started to talk. Daniel starts and says, "So how's you and that girl Jeremy? You guys seem to really be hitting it off." Paul looks at Daniel and says, "Um...she's dating someone from the school. Jeremy was too late." Daniel stays quiet and drinks his beer. "I should just forget about her. Just staying hung up on her will just make me feel worse." I said still drinking my beer. Daniel says to us, "Guys we shouldn't just stay in and do nothing. We should do something extreme. Remember the time we used to go around the neighborhood doing graphite everywhere? Those were our best times together." Paul ask, "Are you saying we should do it again?" He responds, "If it could bring Jeremy back, then yeah."

Midnight arrives and we're all in black hoods. We went from street to street spray painting on buildings and houses. We don't spray for fun, we express our art. Daniel opened his bag of spray paints and me and Paul took them. "Ok, you guys go do your art over there and I'll find somewhere to graffiti over in this direction. Remember we all do one," I say to them. We all scatter and get to our area of choice. I go searching for a suitable house to paint and find a really fancy looking house. For some reason I like spraying on objects that I think looks really fancy. I walked around I take the spray paint out and think for a moment of what I think I should put. I create a blue heart that says "I won't go home without you." When I finished I tried to run away but my spray can fell and made a lot of noise. A man came out the house and yelled, "WHO'S OUT THERE!" I ran as fast as possible. As I was running my hood flew off my head and he saw me.

I hid into a park near the area. I looked around the park and realized that I was in Pelham Bay Park. I used to come here a lot with my dad. We used to bike ride through the trails and sometimes I would fall and he would help me up. Great memories. After I saw the coast was clear I text Paul and Daniel informing them that I'm going back to his house. I put the spray can in my pocket and ran.

I run back to Paul's house, making sure nobody comes and questions me. When I get there I rush in and look through the peephole to see if anyone was outside. I see nobody. I was safe and sound. Sometimes I would stay at Paul's house on Sundays. I go downstairs into the basement and him and Daniel are chilling on the sofa eating pizza and drinking beer. "A job well done my friends," I say in relief. Paul passes me a beer and a slice and says, "Don't worry bro. Just drink and have fun." I smile and we all raise our beer bottles. After we ate they turned off the light and passed out. I stayed and thought about Destiny while trying to go to sleep. I my phone buzzed in my hands and I took a look. It was Destiny. She invited me to this BBQ at her house. I texted her I'll be there and I fell asleep.
