The secret of Rose

Chapter 22

"As you might already know Rose you are not normal.You are special.You were born the way you were to fight and evil force that only you will be able to defeat.There is however a consecence if you lose.If you lose the battle the entire world will be doomed,"my father said and then he looked at Liam saying,"You beter protect my daughter with your life!"

"I will always protect her until the day I die,"Liam said grabbing me by my waist and pulling me closer to him.I loved the tingles I got whenever we were close to each other.Before we could head upstairs I remembered something.I ran into the kitchen and took out the patties that were now burned."I just ruined our dinner,"I said angrily.

All I could hear behind me were the laughter of my mate and my parents.I decided to ignore them and just make some toast for myself as I was still hungry.I loved this moment with both my parents and my mate but then a sudden sadness hit me after I remembered that everyone's lives were depending on me.

"Why must our life be so complicated Hope?" "I wish I knew why but at the moment all we need to worry about is protecting the lives of the people we love,"Hope said with determination in her voice.I couldn't help but smile at her words because I was thinking the exact thing she was.

I learned to love my wolf in the little time I knew her.She really was an amazing wolf and I was happy having her.After eating my toast and talking to my wolf I headed upstairs with Liam right behind me.We both then entered our room and got into bed laying next to each other.

"Liam I need to tell you something,"I said now laying on my side and looking at Liam."What is it love?"Liam asked staring at me."I love you and I could not have asked for any one beter to be m mate..So what I am basically trying to say is that I would love to spend the rest of my life with you,"I said feeling a slight blush starting to form on my cheeks."I love you two,"Liam said and then he leaned down placing a small kiss on my lips.

Our moment was interrupted by a knock on the door.I wonder who would still be awake at this hour except for us I thought but I did not have to wonder for long because Hope had answered me.

"It's time,"she said with dread.

A/N

I know that this chapter was not as long as the others.It is just that I have changed a lot of things in this chapter that is different from what I have written on paper.We are also close to the end of this book.One more chapter to go.I just want to thank everyone that has stuck by me till this point and I hope that my story has not dissapointed you
