Chapter 14

The following day I went out for a run and to get some fresh air.That's when I saw the man again.I decided to follow him to see why he was there.When he came to stop, I decided that I should call Liam, but just before i could get my phone out I saw them.

My adoption parents were hanging from a tree.Their bodies had no life in them.They were dead..My adoption parents were dead.The parents I grew up with and that I had lived with were gone.At that instant I fell to the ground crying.

When I looked up I saw that the man was laughing."You, you did this!I am going to kill you for what you did"I said in an angry voice.

"How are you going to do that?"he asked with a grin on his face and a knife in his hands.Before attacking the man I got out my phone and texted Liam to track it.

"Why would you do something like this?"I asked fighting the tears in my eyes that wanted to fall."I have my reasons, but you won't believe me when I tell you"he said slowly staring walking towards me."Stay away from me you monster!"I spat at him.

When he didn't stop I started walking backwards.While walking backwards I tried shooting him with a fireball but he was to fast and had dodged it.He stopped walking and stared at me with wide eyes."H-How could y-you do t-that?"he asked now scard of me.I started to grin.

At that moment I heard my mate's voice and stepped back.In just a few seconds Liam was standing between the man and me.I couldn't help but smile  and then I went to stand beside my mate.I whispered to Liam telling him everything the man had did.

I could see Liam was angry and I just stood there looking at the man which also had an angry face.That's when I saw the man starting to shake."What are you going to do now?"I asked with a smirk.

The man just stared at me then at Liam."H-how?"he stepped back scared.All you could hear was my growling mate and the leaves that were shaking from the wind.I then started hearing the mans heart beat which was  beating really fast.

 "What do you mean by how?"I asked not losing my focus.The man stumbled back scared of what might happen to me.I almost felt sorry for him.I had to fight the strange urge I had of helping the man.Suddenly I heard an unfamiliar voice in my head.."Help him!"

I tried to shake the voice out of my head, but i couldn't."I...I"the man starting talking, it half scared me but it helped to keep the voice quiet."My reason as to killing these people were that they knew where my daughter was but they didn't want to tell me and I grew impatient with them,"the man had said slowly and with sadness in his eyes,

My eyes grew widened at his words.My adoptive parents had kidnapped this poor man's daughter.It was silent for a long time before my stupid mate decided to ruin it by growling.

"You're his daughter,"The annoying voice in my head said.
