*Liam's POV*

I knocked on Ella's door and Bee answered with Louis cowering close behind.

"Hey Bee, thank goodness you're OK Lou! You had us all worried."I said stepping inside and holding the green scarf out."I think you may have lost something."He snatched it out of my grasp and held it gingerly between his fingers.

"Thanks Li."I smiled and waved at Ella.

"I assume you've come to take him home?"She asked and I nodded.

"If he'll let me, he probably enjoys having two pretty girls like you two cook for him."I swear I saw him turn slightly pink at that. He wrapped his scarf around his neck and pulled his coat on.

"Better tuck that scarf in; we don't need any repeat incidents right now."I said and he nodded tucking the ends of the scarf into the top of his coat. We set off for home, at least his home. I had somewhere to go that night. Ruth expected me to be there and be there I would be.

*Harry's POV*

When Louis walked back into the flat I was relieved.

"Thank goodness you're OK."I said. Zayn and Niall didn't even react to him they just stared glassy eyed at the telly. I didn't even know what was on it anymore and I'm sure they didn't either. It was more for distraction than anything else. I was just glad we didn't end up on the gossip news again.

"Yes, I'm home. Sorry I worried you all I just needed to get out."He said pulling his scarf off and hanging up his jacket. He shook Niall gently by the shoulders and he looked up smiling at him.

"Good to see you back Lou; I thought Harry might wear a hole in the floor if you didn't come back soon."He said and I heard a chuckle out of Zayn at that.

"I've got to go."Liam said."Don't party to hard there Liam!"I yelled after him as he shut the door to our flat.

*Liam's POV*

I got in the car after getting Louis home. I had a coffee date with Ruth to uphold. I drove to our meeting place and when I got there she threw her arms around me.

"Hey little brother, what's up?"

"The usual Ruth, paps and drama."I lightly squeezed her knowing I could hurt her very badly if I wasn't careful.

"Oh come on, you can hug better than that."I just let her go and sat in the chair by the coffee house table."You're being quite the grump today."She said sliding into the chair across from me.

"There's a lot going on with the band right now Ruth. I guess the stress is getting to me a little bit."She stirred her tea around with one of those wooden stir sticks.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"Not particularly."She looked at me and I shook my head."Let's just leave it alone. Anyway, you know how I feel about sharing secrets that involve other people."I knew as soon as I said it I shouldn't of. Ruth perked up at the mention of secrets since secrets meant gossip she could be ahead of the curve on.

"LiLi, couldn't you tell me?"She said sweetly and I shook my head.

"No, Ruth, stop doing that I can't tell you."She scowled and got up to leave."Don't be like that Ruth."I said as she turned her back on me."You're acting like a child and I'm supposed to be the little brother in this situation."I grabbed her wrist to try and gently pull her back into the seat. She pulled back and I tightened my grip pulling harder, as an instinct really. I felt something snap beneath my fingers and I knew then I'd made a terrible mistake.

*Janice's POV*

Excuse my French, my Dad is a dick. He scared off my little sister and now he's gone insane with that damn robot. If it wasn't for Robbie I wouldn't even stay. Robbie is my son and he is the only reason I do what my father asks. I can't move out because I need a stable home for Robbie, although, I'm not sure this is the greatest place for him either. I tucked him in that night laying a feathery kiss on his forehead. I promised myself I would get us out of here eventually, same as I do every night. I then went back into the personal hell that was my father's workshop.
