You didnt answer the girl just changed in the supply closet. You didnt even look at her while changing.

"Thank you." You mumbled to her when you had done. You were grateful but didn't know how to pay her back.

"Your welcome." She exclaimed with enthusiasm. A smile showing on her face from helping you out. You were also happy that she didn't seem pissed off with the fact she helped you.

You both walked out of school together in silence, it wasn't awkward, it was comfortable silence.

You walked a few blocks before Talia spoke up, " Why does everyone talk bad about you?" She asked, it was an innocent question, but caught you off guard.

"........." You were speechless, I mean how could someone ask that out of the blue.

"I'm sorry, its just that everyone told me to stay away from you, but won't say why, you dont seem bad at all." You were happy that she didn't listen to everyone else and the fact that she complimented you again, caused you to go red.

"I honestly don't know, Bakugou started then everyone else joined in." You answered, recalling your first year and the fact you tried to be friendly but the blonde wasn't having it.

"I mean he usually ignores people but has it in for me." You chuckled uncomfortably. She listened in her taller height slightly intimidated you but she seemed nice so you warmed up slightly.

"He's probably jealous of how pretty you are compared to him." This caused you to blush more, you began to drop your guard around the girl.

She's nice

"Thanks." You mumbled.

You both walked in silence for a bit. Looking at the afternoon sky."You're really pretty." You whispered, hoping she wouldn't catch the compliment.

"Thank you!" She exclaimed, " Well this is me." You looked behind her to see an apartment block. "Meet me here tommorow morning at 8 so we can walk to school together." She stated before walking into the block.

You continued your walk home, "does she count as a friend?" You asked yourself. You had completely forgot about your father.

When you began to walk the path to your front door, Dylan stood by the window waiting for your arrival. He tapped his foot as he watched your figure walk up the stairs, your were in thought not even thinking of the time, just the lightskinned girl.

You heard the door click and looked up to come face to face with the brown haired man. The colour drained from your face, it being a while since school ended. Honestly you were scared shitless.

"Its 4 30, you were meant to be back a while ago," Your arm was yanked into the house, you yelped with the surprising action, the feeling of your shoulder popping.

His grip tight as he took you to the basement of the house, following after you. He threw you onto the floor, body making contact with it harshly.

His eyes glowed red with anger, "I brought you into my home when you were young, raised you and you cant follow a simple rule." He spoke English this scared you as he only spoke it when he was really upset.

He picked up a cable that he saw on the floor, folding it over in two. His eyes flicked as he tried not to activate his quirk, showing mercy on your pour soul.

"You've been acting weird lately always staying in your room or coming home late, you've got a boyfriend haven't you?" He sneered raising the wire above his head.

You shook your head aggressively, " No it was my turn to clean the classroom but I forgot at lunch so had to do it after school." You said it so fast, it was a miracle he understood what you said.
