Your face was bruised up and you had a large stabbing pain going through your body whenever someone brushed against you. You felt the need to go invisible the whole school day, you had made Dylan angry enough to use his quirk to throw you around the house, the Tv was broken from when you were lobbed into it.

The class hadn't even begun yet and people were already bothering you with their confused looks. Some even looked between me and Bakugou thinking he was the one who did it.

Talia had come in when she saw me she made it obvious she was concerned, cradling my face in her palm and ghosting a finger over the bruise on her cheek.

She made contact with it making you flinch and she removed her hand immediately, it made you blush, the amount that she cared about you.

"Y/n what happened to you, your whole body is injured, what the hell happened to your rib?" She asked, she had used your quirk on you, usually, you didn't object but right now it angered you.

"It's embarrassing, I just fell, no falling off a mountain bike or cruising on a longboard, just falling." You lied, a cheery expression on your face.

You had become more cheerful around the girl and only around the girl everyone else made you so uncomfy and out of pace but she made you feel liked and approachable.

"Really. I just hope you get better soon, I would hate to think someone had injured you that much. I love you too much y/n."

She loves me.

How could she go around saying things like that as a joke no less, it could mess up your mind and cause all these fake scenarios to appear?

"Thank you."

How were you meant to think for the rest of the day, you felt hot and angry but happy at the same time, she cared about you a lot but in a friendly way.

"Y/n you're flickering, is that normal?"Talia asked, reaching her hand out towards you.

You looked down at your hands seeing yourself become visible and invisible, were you that shocked, but also embarrassed at the fact she flustered you so easily.

"Yeh, I'm just nervous for today." You lied, giving the flashcards that you made for her to revise. It was your small thank you for her being so kind to you all this time.

She had invited you to her house again every time you would refuse, yet she would never give up, keen on her parents meeting her best friend.

She would walk you home, even Dylan was fond of her, she was perfect in every way her personality her looks, even the fact she was able to balance the fact she was friends with Bakugou and friends with you.

Speaking of Bakugou hadn't bothered you in a while, his friends were a different story but you were just glad you didn't have to deal with his quirk.

You hadn't seen those two men in a long time, you didn't want to, but thinking of someone having that amount of control over you sometimes made you tear up before bed, it would even make you cry in the middle of a lesson, turning yourself invisible so no one would notice.

Seeing Chisaki had become a regular thing, after the operation, you would visit Eri for about 5-20 minutes, you felt so bad for her, seeing she would stay in such a shitty place like that surrounded by people who sealed drugs, you were just happy they didn't abuse her.

The reason Dylan had thrown you at the Tv and attempted to beat you to a pulp was unknown to you, but you were guessing something happened at work, something so bad that it gave him the thought of killing you.

As you walked up the stairs of your home, you caught a glimpse of your father staring at you through the window a scowl on his face.

Your legs trembled hoping he didn't want around 2, you were already exhausted and had to revise for midterms, why were you revising in the first place you were already pretty smart, all you needed to do was read Kiss by Jacqueline Wilson and sleep.

You wanted to hear more about Miranda and Sylvie's relationship you wanted to see if Sylvie would accept Carl for who he was instead of trying to convince herself that he's going through a phase cause she has a dumb crush on him.

You walked through the door, bowing as you greeted Dylan who just frowned and nodded his head, allowing you to go upstairs.

You liked to imagine yourself in these book scenarios, your imagination running wild with fantasy, seeing yourself helping Linden restore the Oak's magic by journeying to the dangerous human realm.

You wanted to help Sophie find her mother jumping roof to roof in the streets of Paris, you just wanted to run away.

Although things had calmed down, you were scared it would go back to the ways it used to be and become a daily routine of abuse and loneliness, you just wanted to escape it all.

When it came to Midoriya, you had hoped with him being your friend but with increasing verbal torment you had finally given up.

Everyone had control over you, that's why you wanted to break free so bad, you just wanted a way to escape this cruelty.

Except you were a coward that fantasy only existed in your head, among the other mythical creatures and imaginary characters you had created, so you didn't feel lonely in your room.

Staring at the ceiling of your room, you basked in your imagination, your mind going to Talia, you imagined the two of you in the park while it rained, you were lying on her lap as an umbrella covered the two of you.

You smiled up at her, then turned to watch the rain make puddles.

The thought itself made you happy, you wanted to spend time with her outside of school and your house, but right now was not the time.
