𝐉𝐢𝐧𝐱; 𝐬𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐞

Past

Felix sat down in silence and stunned, he was trying to process what Hyunjin just said.

"Y- You what ?"

Hyunjin took a deep breath and said again "I killed my best friend Felix..."

"B-B- But"

"His name was Park Min-young, we were friends since we were kids and our families are close or.... Were close..."

Felix was confused on why Hyunjin was suddenly telling him this information but just stayed quiet and listened.

"We went everywhere together, we went to the beach down at Seoul, we took trips together, we snuck out sometimes and we both loved taking pictures and dancing in the rain but, one day at the beach, me and minnie were swimming and a big wave came in and.... He drowned"

Felix's eyes widened, he was surprised and was a little bit scared.

"His parents blamed me, and weeks later my parents died in a car crash, that's when I lived with my grandparents, but my grandpa died a couple of years ago......and my grandmother died last year"

Hyunjin was on the verge of crying, it was somewhat hard for him to tell his story, especially to a person he barley knew, but it had to be done if he could somehow prevent the same thing happening to Felix.

Felix stayed still, he never realized how much Hyunjin had lost in his life, his best friend, his grandparents, his parents....

He's all alone

"So could you please stay away from me Felix, I can't go through that again or it might break me" Hyunjin asked Felix, but without demanding him this time, he was sincere, soft, gentle, it was un normal for hyunjin to be like this, and yet.... He was...

All for the sake of keeping Felix away.

Hyunjin sighed, standing up while picking up his bag, walking away from Felix until "Wait !"
Felix grabbed his arm, preventing him from leaving.

Hyunjin looked back at Felix and said "what"

"I- I- fine.... But- c- can we at least finish the project ?" Felix asked Hyunjin. Hoping he would say yes.

Hyunjin looked at Felix's soft eyes and gave in, "fine..." Hyunjin said, making Felix have a soft smile...

"But afterwards we're done" Hyunjin said as he yanked Felix's hand off of his arm, walking towards the park's exit.

Hyunjin looked back at a confused and shocked Felix, 'I hope that worked' he said to himself.

But knowing Felix, it just made him more intrigued and more determined.

Yes it was sad and horrible, Felix felt incredibly terrible about the news he had heard from
Hyunjin, but knowing that he wanted to help fix the situation even more.

At first he almost did believe Hyunjin was a jinx but he had to remind himself that there's no such thing and that it's just a thing Hyunjin and random People keep telling themselves.

Just bc it was said, doesn't mean it's true.

The next day school

Felix was walking the halls sulking about the previous conversation he and Hyunjin had yesterday, he got some stares from students in the hallways and some even asked him if he was ok.

Of course knowing Felix he just waved them off and told them he was fine. But it didn't stop his friends from asking him as well.

Felix entered his classroom, his friends following him in.

"Felix what's wrong" Bangchan asked, "nothing I'm fine" Felix responded with a smile.

"Dude we know your lying" Changbin said.

Felix looked away back at his desk and started pulling out his pencils and notebooks.

"It's because of Hyunjin" Han said, getting all of their friends attention, also getting Felix's.

"Wh- Wha no-" before Felix could even finish his excuse, Hyunjin walked in the classroom.
Instantly getting bangchan's, Changbin's, Hans attention.

Hyunjin looked up at all three of them staring at him right next to a sad Felix and instantly tried sitting down at his desk.

Bangchan, Han, and Changbin saw this and walked up to Hyunjin.

"What the fuck did you do to Felix jinx" Bangchan said with anger in his voice. Getting all of the students attention in the class.

Hyunjin was uncomfortable with the whole entire classes attention focused on him so he ignored Bangchan and leaned for his backpack to pull out his notebook and pencils but was stopped by someone grabbing onto his wrists.

"He asked you a question" Changbin said with the same amount of anger in his voice.

Felix saw the scene and rushed over to hyunjins desk to try to stop it by yelling "Guys ! Leave it alone I'm fine ! It has nothing to do with Hyunjin" knowing it has everything to do with Hyunjin but he kept quiet.

"Then what's wrong with you Felix ?" Han asked.

Felix sighed and said "I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed, you don't need to cause so much drama and stir trouble because of it"

Bangchan, Han and Changbin all looked at Felix and looked back at a annoyed Hyunjin, still not believing but believed it anyways since Felix was their friend.

"Fine" Changbin said as he let go of hyunjins wrist and walking away. Han and bangchan did the same thing.

Felix sighed of relief and looked at Hyunjin, Hyunjin looked back and both had a couple seconds of staring at eachother until Hyunjin broke it and looked away.

Felix went back to his seat and sat down, pulling his head into his arms relaxing on the table, waiting for class to start.

Bell rings

The teacher walked in class saying "hello students, today I have a exciting announcement for you" the teacher said as he threw is notebook and pen on his desk heading straight to the front of the classroom.

Students started whispering and gossiping what the surprise was gonna be. Felix launched his head up to pay attention but also took a quick look at Hyunjin who was drawing on his notebook.

The teacher took a deep breath and said "to help with this years big assignment, me and the principal decided for us to go to a place fit for everyone's category for the assignment"

Everyone was getting anxious and excited.

The teacher finally announced "we are going to Downtown Seoul and Seoul beach"

I looked around the classroom and saw everyone in class started cheering and yelled happily.

But my eyes landed on Hyunjin.

He was frozen in place.

I was confused at first until I remembered our previous conversation.

He lost his best friend at Seoul Beach.

HEY GUYS ! So sorry I haven't updated I was busy with school stuff going on and etc.

I'm sorry this is not a long chapter, but I had to stop it here to cause a little suspense.
