Chapter 1 (To break the Queen)

Once upon a time in a faraway land..............

Wow! that's sounds so cliche. I mean what love story doesn't have this beginning.

NO!

This is not an ordinary love story of a queen finding her king. This is an adventure-filled, heart-string tugging, twisted romance. Many plot twists with heartbreaking moments. This is the story of how Queen Annabeth or now Queen Sapphire escaped an abusive husband. Tested her fate in the enemy kingdom and fell in love with the enemy king. This is also the story of how King Sebastian and his Queen Sapphire saved their kingdom of Lupine. This story will make you just and shout in agony and suspense. This romance will also make your brain lose its mental capacity to function. This will also make you cry. So, this is your warning. Prepare to have your heartstrings pulled, your brain loses its mental capacity to function, and your heart to be ripped out at times.

Anyway, here we go-

Over 5 millenniums ago. There was the kingdom of Buckingham. There lived a Queen.

Queen Annabeth to be exact. She was a wise and beautiful queen. Dark brown hair, Sapphire eyes, light olive skin tone, red lips. A beauty of a Queen. She was looked upon with her beauty. She had a scar that ran from just an inch under her eyebrow to the tip of her cheekbone on her eye. She also had the most beautiful voice. She was wise as she was kind. Yet, underneath all of that was a tortured girl looking for an escape out of a marriage and the kingdom. Then on the day that escape came.

"Thank you for a tour of the castle as well as the meal, My Queen. But I must be off." said lord Barthwell.

"You are quite welcome, My Lord." Queen Annabeth said as she curtsied.

"I shall like to say my goodbyes to our King, but I would seem he has run off on us," Barthwell said.

"He does seem to runoff every chance he has, doesn't he?" Annabeth said.

"I shall fetch him at once," she said.

"Thank you, my queen. We must finalize this expansion plan as quickly as possible," he said.

"Of course, My lord, we're happy to be working with you. I shall make sure we finalize this expansion as soon as possible. Now will excuse me I shall find my husband so we may finalize sometime soon." Annabeth replied as she scurried off to find the king.

"John, please entertain the lord until I find King Jamison," she said to John the butler.

"Of course, your highness," he replied as he walks to entertain Lord Barthwell.

Then stood next to Queen Annabeth her handmaid and very good friend and confidant Isla.

"The King is in his chambers with his mistress, isn't he?" Queen Annabeth asked angrily.

Isla looked away twiddling her fingers signaling that the king was where Queen Annabeth asked.

The queen angrily gathered herself with a deep breath and said

"Wait for me here, please," she replied as she went to go fetch the king.

Isla nodded her head and waited.

"Please Jamison don't be in there with her......." Annabeth thought to herself.

I opened the door slightly. Just as I expected, my husband was with his mistress in his chamber. In the middle of one of our biggest alliance deals.
