Sawyer sat at the dungeon explaining what Jamsion was doing to Isla.
"That good for nothing, King of Buckingham!" she shouts in rage.
"It's for the best, Izzy," Sawyer said with a sigh
"The best?!" she shouts
"Annabeth has been gone for a month and he's remarried already. Her bed is not even cold yet. Shame on him!" she shouts
"SHHH!!!! Stop shouting Izzy." Sawyer says
"If he catches you speaking that way he'll hang you for treason," he says
"Plus...... this is all my idea," Sawyer says under his breath.
Isla's face turns red as she ready to shout
"WHAT?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she shouts at the top of her lungs.
"Isla! stop shouting before you get us both in trouble," he says
"Chloe is pregnant," he says
"What?!" she says loudly
"ISLA!" Sawyer yells through his teeth
"He was furious he was going to have a bastard child. I convinced him Annabeth has probably runoff, and to save himself the embarrassment of a bastard child he should announce her death and marry Chloe, making her queen. That way Jamison is no longer infatuated with finding Annabeth, she can live her life in peace. It was the only way I could thin to ensure my queen's safety." he explains
"I see now," Isla says
"I suppose that does make a great deal of sense. It makes a lot of sense. Well done, Sawyer." she says
Sawyer chuckles.
"Thank you, my love," Sawyer says as they stare into each other with Sawyer holding Isla's head in his hand.
Then they hear footsteps coming.
"Hide!" Isla says
"I shall return soon, my love," he says
Sawyer runs off to hide.
Brandon walks up to Isla's cell.
"Isla, how are you doing?" he asks
"As good as someone in a dungeon cell can be," she replies
Brandon sighs
"King Jamison cannot locate Sawyer, so he sent me to fetch you," he says
"And take me where, exactly?" Isla asks
"You're now Queen Chloe's handmaiden," he says
"Q... Queen Chloe?!" Isla says with shock.
"I know, it's a lot to take in. I'll explain everything on our way to your chambers," he says
"This cell looks more appealing than my chambers if I have to be 'Queen' Chloe's handmaiden," Isla says
"I hear you," Brandon says with a slight chuckle.
Then he takes Isla out of her cell and walks her to her chambers. Then Isla waves goodbye to Sawyer who was watching Isla in the dark behind a wall.
Once they were gone Sawyer came out of the darkness. he sighed.
"Thank the lord she's free," he says to himself.
